Gator14U Rack Base with Casters for Console Audio Racks (GRC-BASE-14)

Excellent, durable, light weight and great hardware. I use this for my little studio room so I can roll it out of the way for vacuuming the floor.

Look closely at the pictures provided. I did before I bought it and I wondered why the pieces of equipment were held in with just one or two screws instead of 4... Then I got mine. The holes don't line up! And most of the holes don't even have threads! The screws they provided just turn inside the holes or don't go in at all. And if you do get one in, forget getting it out! The couple of things I got in are crooked and there is zero support so they are just hanging by the faceplates. This thing is utter garbage and feels like it is made from cardboard. Even if I could get my equipment in there, I wouldn't trust it on a quiet drive down the street, much less to a gig!

This was the perfect fit for my needs. I weighed cost, durability, and size and this turned out to be a winner. The biggest question I had when ordering the 10U was does it come with lids for both sides of the rack? Although they are not pictured, they both do come with. Why in the world Gator doesn't picture these is beyond me. I have learned the hard way to never assume something comes with, even though logically it should. Amazon clearly states to sellers to picture what comes with what you buy. I actually emailed Gator's customer service to verify if the doors come with and they never got back to me (even checked my junk mail). For that, I say Gator's customer service blows. But the product fit my needs, so I took a gamble. For anyone who is planning to buy and use it with the wheels on, I would recommend a clearance of 23W x 25H x 25L (depth).

Again professional look at a reasonable price. Used for drawers to carry cables, mic's and other show needs. Even though the drawers lock would have liked the unit it's self to be lockable as is available on some other cases from Gator! Otherwise great product for my use.

Front and back rack mount. Made very sturdy. Quite happy with it.

Very nice case, but receive damage

It's okay but a little too deep. Haven't used it yet guess I might use it this Christmas for a show.

Comparé aux racks de taille équivalente en bois, celui-ci a l'énorme avantage de la légèreté. Les roues fonctionnent bien, sans bruit et peuvent être bloquées facilement. Petit bémol sur la partie supérieure qui peut avoir tendance à s'affaisser légèrement, mais dans mon cas comme j'ai une unité rigide 1U dans le compartiment du haut, ce n'est pas dérangeant, c'est elle qui contribue à solidifier le tout. Contrairement à quelques commentaires que j'ai lu, aucune difficulté à visser les différents éléments sur le rail, tout est bien aligné.
