Numi Organic Tea Decaf Vanilla, 16 Count Box of Tea Bags (Pack of 3) Black Tea

I am a big fan of Numi's regular Black Vanilla tea and was pleased to find that they are now making a Decaf version, and so I ordered the multipack. I found it a bit lacking in flavor and aroma at first, though, something like what you would expect from a second brewing of a bag of their regular Black Vanilla tea. When I tried it on its own, with a tiny bit of honey but without milk (which I always put in my regular Black Vanilla tea), I did have a change of heart. This is a lovely, mild black tea that can stand alone, as opposed to the regular Black Vanilla which can be a bit too bitter and strong without milk to mellow it out. And so, if you like your tea with milk or cream, I recommend the regular Black Vanilla, which is rich with intense vanilla fragrance and flavor that can stand up quite well to the addition of milk or cream. If you like it plain, though, I do recommend this Decaf Black Vanilla, as it really is quite mellow and lovely on its own. In addition, I will add (since I think if you like one you will really enjoy the other) that Numi's Earl Grey teas are our favorite Earl Greys, and both the regular and decaf version are potent with a heady bergamot note unlike that in any other typical Earl Grey. I have had both with milk and honey, and both stand up quite well--even the decaf version. I never really considered Earl Grey to be as special as I do now, since trying Numi's Earl Greys. Try them as well, and I think you will have found a couple of new favorites.

I love that the only flavoring in this tea is actual vanilla beans and I love that it's organic, but like most decaf teas, it's lacking in body and briskness. It's still a good alternative to caffeinated tea, but I'd rather have an herbal or red tea.

I guess I should have known that nothing really beats strong, black coffee, but when my heart started palpitating from all the caffeine, it was time to try something else. As other reviewers have said, this is a mild tea. The flavor is good but weak, even when you leave the teabag to steep for an extended period. It is good for multiple cups a day, which is good because that's how I was drinking my strong, black coffee. Maybe eventually I'll get used to the subtly of this tea.

It's so hard to find this tea in stores and I am so glad that Amazon has it at a great price. This is probably the only tea out there that is decaffinated and actually has a flavor. As another reviewer mentioned before, the decaffination process robs the tea of any flavor but not this one! The wonderful vanilla bean that's added to this tea makes it seem like you're having desert with your tea. Wonderful with milk and some sugar or just plain. Another great thing about this tea is that it's organic and comes from such a "green" and responsible company as Numi. Keep up the good work!

I often buy tea bags on Amazon because I consistently find the brands and flavors I want at a good price. This tea is lightly flavored and tastes good with some milk in it. Because it is decaf black tea (not herbal tea), be sure to give it an adequate steep before drinking to ensure it is fully brewed.

I love this tea because it is not full of harmful ingredients. While I love the vanilla flavor it does tend to take over and I wish it was a little stronger. It seems no matter how long I let it seep it doesn't get strong enough for my taste.

I LOVE tea... Unfortunately my body will no longer tolerate my favorite kick-you-in-your-kidney's strong black teas. So I am in desperate search of strong full bodied DECAF teas that will actually make me want to get up in the morning!This tea is one of the best I found around! If you love tea but can't take the caffine, and don't have the dinero to shell out $30 bucks for 2 ounces of the good stuff at tevanna then give this a try. The taste of vanilla is front and center but followed by a somewhat strong note of black tea that I terribly miss in your standard watered down tasting decaf fair. I have purchased from this seller 3-4 times without a hitch and am even considering doing auto ship on this particular product. Hope this helps if you were on the fence about trying it. I'm off to enjoy a cuppa!

I hate to say it, but this tea is really weak. I was trying to cut caffeine out of my diet, so I was looking for some good, safe, organic decaf black tea to drink. Numi is great, and this is the closest they have to decaf black tea.Yes, you can taste the vanilla but the black tea part is so weak that it's barely there. Even when I leave the tea bag in the cup for a while, it's still weak. Any time I choose this over the Numi decaf Earl Grey or a different brand of decaf english breakfast, I regret picking it.
