Gifts & Decor Fairy Maiden Dragon Rider Figurine, Led

I love this beautiful fae. She came well package and on time. The drawbacks are the dragons wings were not fully painted, half the wings were bare resin and there were 9 other spots that didnt get painted as well. Now I am a crafty person and love to customize so I really enjoyed finishing off the paint and of course using way more glitter than was probably needed(I lied there is no such thing as to much glitter). The piece itself it very detailed sculpture wise, and I am happy I was able to add her to my collection.

This is beautiful! Came quickly and was a gift to my granddaughter from my oldest brother and his wife. She LOVED it. The only problem is that you have to buy batteries so it can light. Usually they come with the first set of batteries but this one did not. Which is stupid! The batteries are small, takes three and are very hard to get in and have all there stay in. Maybe that is why it does not come with the first set of batteries.

I wish it came with batteries

The figure is amazing in its paint and detail. -well, most of it - the back of the dragon wings should have been completely painted - i fixed that by painting them purple and overcoat with a clear glitter; and some of the painting on the dragon is sloppy. The fairy is so detailed in the painting it is amazing; she has blush on her cheeks and blue eyes with black centers and a sparkle in the center. The wings were separate, plastic, and attached by inserting a stud into a hole in her back. The electronics were put together with hot glue and one of the wires was suspended and not attached. I painted the statue with clear coat, redid the wiring and hooked it up to a solar lights electronics so it will glow at night outside.

When I first purchased this I thought it was just a statue, and when it was delivered I found out that it needed batteries for a little light inside it. When I did order the batteries (size AG3 It takes three of them) the colors are gorgeous and I use it as a small night light because the batteries are inexpensive enough (I bought them through amazon for under 2$) But I have to say, so far I love it!

The product came intact, but with no battery, and no instructions as to what type battery it uses, also needs a button battery, which means it will need constant changing. At least supply the first battery, as to know what type battery it needs.

She is quite lovely and well worth the price. Nice details. Good to keep or give as a gift for a wide range of age groups.
