5 Years on, and these are STILL the best
Originally purchased these 5 years ago to train for my first marathon. Since then, I have run 8 marathons, 10 half marathons, and several thousand miles. These headphones are the ONLY ones that stand up to my copious amounts of sweat. I am writing this review because I came back to buy a new pair since I lost an earpad. Really a shame that these arent being made any more, as I have tried other models, and nothing comes close.

Not bad at all
I purchased these headphones after I purchased a Kinivo BTH220 headphones to see if they would be better. I tested the headphones using the USB function on my Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 64GB 4G tablet. Here is my review below ....1) How they look on you. The Rocketfish headphones actually look pretty good on anybody. They don't stick way out like the Kinivo headphones do. Rating 5 of 5.2) Fit and Comfort. The Rocketfish headphones actually stay on your head better than the Kinivo headphones, but they aren't nearly as comfortable. In fact, after about an hour of listening, the Rocketfish headphones really make your ears hurt. However, they are much more stable on your head. 2 of 53) Sound quality. The sound quality is better than the Kinivo hands down. Deep bass was lacking, however the bass response was not totally lacking and expected for a set of blue tooth headphones. Further, there are adjustments to set the sound effects to more of your liking. The feature is called 3D sound, and definitely changes the way you like the music sound to be played. 4 of 5.4) Battery Life. This was pretty disappointing. The manual says the operating time is about 12 hours playing music. I was lucky to get 2 hours before the lack of charge severely distorted the sound. However, they charge pretty quickly. 1 of 5 stars.5) Controls. The controls are easy to find and adjust while you are wearing the headphones. You can skip to the next song, answer a telephone call, turn up the volume and adjust the sound effects. 5 of 56) Quality of materials. Everything on the headphones, with the exception of one component, is quality. The headphone pads are a thin foam material. It is not very durable or comfortable either. They do give you an extra set of foam pads, which you can expect to burn through in about three months. Unfortunately, these flimsy pads will allow you to have less than one year of useful life from the product. 0 of 5 stars.7) Charging. These come with its own 110V charger and detachable USB cable. The cable on the headphones has a Mini B connector and the other end is a standard USB. You can plug the unit into any USB port, or use the USB charger supplied with the unit. 5 of 5**** Update 05/22/2013 ****Recently I accidently dropped these headphones into a sink full of water! Its true, you never really know for sure how much you like something until its gone! I dried them out by shaking out the water, removing the foam ear pads, and let them dry out over night. Then, the next morning I turned them on and they were perfectly fine! Holy Cow! These are awesome!

A surprisingly good value
Here's my review, I'll try to go point by point.Got these because I have 2 items that need bluetooth headphones and the ones I had were a royal pain to uncouple from one, then couple with the other, then back. So I figured a second pair of basic bluetooth ones would solve my problems. Got these when the price hit 10 bucks (Wishing I'd waited another couple days lol, price hit 7 as I write this review) and figured that though USPS it'd be at least a week until I saw 'em. That was the first bit of good news. Ordered them late last week, got them a few hours ago. That's when I got more good news. One of the accessories that's barely listed is worth the purchase in itself. A wall plug to USB charging adapter, meaning charge anywhere and so on. That solved a bunch of other problems since like a lot of people, I have cords all over the bleeping place and it's a pain keeping them under control, so fewer is better. The packaging was fine, nothing wrong there just a bit dusty, probably from sitting in a warehouse for a while. Getting into the package was a bit annoying but everything was there and the headphones looked new so I plugged them into the adapter and charged, which took about 2 and a half hours. Dunno if they had a partial charge or not when I started, but 2-3 hours is pretty normal for headsets like this.Got them charged and paired, settled them on my head, and got the first bit of bad news. They'd fit my head perfectly....if I didn't wear glasses. Considering the other factors however I'll see if I can adapt. Like I said, the charger alone's worth the money I spent so if these don't pan out then it's not like I wasted my 10 bucks. Controls are on the small side and close to the head, so if you have big or clumsy fingers you'll need to be careful or look at something else. On to the sound tests.Sound was tested using various music and videosHighs were good. I'm not the best for testing highs due to hearing loss, so take that for what it's worth. Midrange is solid, bass is decent. Also, the bass seems to have a digital surge limiter, meaning sudden loud noises or huge thumps have a much reduced chance of blowing the speakers, which I accidentally did with my old set due to a major volume difference between 2 vids on youtube. I now know better and the old ones still work, they just aren't all that great at low range anymore. These have a very 'deep' sound which is good since I like deep sound. If you like your stuff high pitched in general, these wouldn't be the best option. Overall sound fidelity was actually really good, I'm surprised. They're not Sennheisers but I've paid more for worse so no complaints there. Dunno what the usage life is but headsets like this usually have 4-5 hours of use life per charge so not exactly news there.Overall I give 'em 2 thumbs up. They were a good price and do what I need, which is all I could realistically have asked. The problem about them fitting with my glasses could be big could be small, dunno yet and it's only a worry for people who use glasses.I'm a consumer, and I approved this message.

I don't love them, but I *do* like them
Considering the build and audio quality of this headset I'd suggest them if you're not planning on using them all the time. I've paid for the convenience of being wireless, though, and that is good for my public transportation commute and great for working out. They're not super comfortable but they don't hurt my skin but are fairly easy to adjust. The audio quality is pretty good but audiophiles be warned, you will hate these headsets! The white noise is noticeable, especially if you're listening for it.I had an easier time setting this up to work well with my Nexus 4 than my Mac although I had to set the display not to go to sleep while plugged in, for some reason that was killing the Bluetooth output during TuneIn playback. For high quality output on the Mac you'll have to navigate to /Applications/Utilities and launch Audio MIDI Setup.app, Right-Click on "RF-MAB2 Stereo: 0 In / 2 Out" and select "Use this device for sound output".Overall I'm happy with the headsets but I would find it easier to recommend them were they maybe $35 or even $40.Also, I find the mic quite underwhelming-don't expect to carry on conversations in all types of surrounding noise situations... well, any conversation with any surrounding sound.

Five Stars
love this head set, the sound that comes through on them has some serious depth. I was completely unaware when I bought these the first time ( gf crushed the original :/) that it had a built in mike, it works really really well although I found people couldn't hear me when I was driving in the car while it was raining, the mic picked up the pitter patter of the rain! the battery lasts a long time on it, I wish there was an indicator to tell you battery level, once it tells you that the battery is dying you have about 2 minutes of audio time left.
