Bought three refurbished. one died
They don't come with the installation program.You have to download it to a flash drive or CD from a computer that has a connection to the internet then install it in the computer you are going to use the Netgear wifi on. After that it's a simple install.Just google Netgear WNA3100 N300 Wireless USB Adapter and you will find the download you need and lots of other info from others who used this unit.

I was in a need of a wireless adapter for my second desktop and decided to go to B$&@ B$y to purchase it.Bad idea!The sales kid was rude and insisted that I purchase this astronomically expensive adapter!When I questioned him on what was the diffetance between the $20&$40 and the expensive one he was trying to sell me?he looked baffled and started scratching his head.Hhhmmm..!I told the guy it's ok and left.I got home and starting scrolling thru the web and Lo and Behold!It was the expensive one the sales kid was trying to sell me but 70% cheaper on Amazon! Immediately ordered the adapter and with in a day or two BOOM got it.Hooked it up,easy to install,got a signal and began surfin!Im totally satisfied with the product and prompt service😊.I always been a Amazon shopper and always will!!!

Really handy!
We attached this to my wife's PC and were able to eliminate a long cord to our router. We were also able to eliminate her printer since I have a wireless one in my office. I'd not considered that such a product even existed until I went looking for a solution to the fraying cord to the router. And the price made it a very economical solution.

Can't use it.
I'm sure that it is a terrific adapter, but my laptop won't accept it. A waster of time and money.

Nice overall
I bought this adapter in particular because my router is also Netgear, and also because 300N would be good for me since I'm into gaming. I'm a floor above and to the other side of the house from the router and it works perfectly. Would recommend to a friend!

Neartgear N3oo works well
A big improvement over the old N150s I had which kept crashing or (worse) giving me a blue screen of death. I bought two of these which seem to be working fine thus far

THIS PRODUCT WORKS VERY WELL
I needed to make my desktop wifi accessible and this does it for me . It picks up the signal very easily and quickly. And it is very easy to hook up.
