I saw the video by the author explaining tao te ching and was blown away and ordered his version of tao te ching straightaway..but the book was far from even up to the mark

I bought this little book as a companion to Dr Dyer’s book, Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life. As I listen to the Audible version of Change Your Thoughts I can read the verses and make notes in this little book. This paperback is beautifully illustrated and has a section for notes. It’s lightweight and small enough to carry on trips. I’m so grateful for Dr. Wayne Dyer and the beautiful, simple wisdom found in the pages of this book. Although the text is short, its message is divinely powerful and life changing.

The book is a jewel. I love it BUT it arrived damaged with a big stain of some kind of soap or detergent across the cover, going around the pages and part of the back. It was still damp and soapy, with sticky pages when I got it out of the box. The rest of the package was clean and undamaged so I don't know why the book came like this. I hope I could get a new one but this time clean and undamaged. Thank you.

All that Wayne Dyer does is paraphrasing the Tao, therefore weakening the interpretation without adding anything useful. It looks like the Tao is beyond his competences.
