Shining example of brilliant customer care.
Some problems with my order were rapidly resolved. This is a brand that you can trust.Stellar output from such a small and well engineered torch!I simply love it.On 6 moth follow up, I have found that if not used for a few weeks, the battery will completely discharge! So keep an eye on this.At 9 months it was discharging after minimal use. Faulty battery. I emailed RovyVon and was told, 'no problem, will send a replacement'. This came three days later! It is so good to know that the company cares about their customers.

Excellent
Small enough to be a sensible key-ring. Excellent light and battery lasts well as long as you don't use it on the brightest settings for prolonged periods. Very impressed and now have 2 of them.

Goods things come in small packages
It's tiny, and the brightness for something so small is amazing. Not quite sure what the point of the dim light is, but the normal torch is exceptional.Dead easy to recharge the battery too. Nothing to dislike.

Everybody should have at least one
Rovyvons are remarkable flashlights. Everybody should have at least one. A good UI but IMHO not perfect. Rovyvon makes too much of brightness. Most keychain requirement is just close up for keys etc. So I don't like that a single long press goes to bright destroying night vision, but at least its momentary so inadvertent permanent on in the pocket is unlikely . I just deducted a star because I used it for reading my meter in a dark cupboard and it was too bright. Updated Rovys have changed 3 fast clicks from low to strobe. Don't like the loss of direct to low, low is more useful more frequently though I agree with taking Strobe out of the normal cycle. It is also too difficult to track down neutral white product, again I think this is a Rovyvon brightness obsession.Don't normally like the uncertainty of memory but this has been implemented quite well. Only memorised after 3 minutes so its easy to keep the flashlight in your preferred level..

Super little light.
Bought this little light and after reading the reviews I can’t relate to any of the negative ones. It’s a super little light. Battery could last longer I guess as I use it on the bright setting every time. It’s so compact for what it does. I actually left the wrist lanyard on it in case I lost it. It’s unbelievably bright. I’ve always had led lensers but this is better. Charges in about 40 mins. Definitely recommend it.

Really really good torch 🔦
Really really good torch I absolutely love it. It is tiny but it's super bright and the battery will last a decent time, but it does got hot if you have it on the highest brightness for a couple of minutes.

Good - but let down by one big fault
These are remarkably small and remarkably bright. I own one of the cheaper plastic ones and I've just bought one of the more expensive metal ones - which is the subject of this review. Many other reviews state how compact and well engineered these are and this is absolutely true. Others state how responsive Rovyvon are to customer queries and this is also true. However there is one major fault and this is a very low-tech issue. The USB charge port is covered with a jelly-like silicone bung. On my original plastic edition this is easily removable and replaceable after charging. The metal variety uses a slightly different design which is attached by a small filament of the same material. This was quite fiddly to remove for the initial charging and quite impossible to replace as the tiny attachment needs to be folded back inside the body before the bung can be replaced. After numerous attempts the filament broke and even without the additional material in the way, the bung wouldn't go back in securely. This wouldn't be a big deal for most people but I spend quite a lot of time around boats and the waterproof rating of things is important to me. The original bung more or less rested in place but was quickly lost. The advertising material stated that a spare was included in the package but there wasn't a spare with mine. I will certainly use the torch but I don't expect it to last long as it's water resistant credentials are completely compromised. I see that other Amazon sellers sell such bungs and I'll probably buy something to protect the innards but this shouldn't be necessary with a premium product.
