Gonzo Odor Eliminating Rocks for Homes, Includes 6 32oz bags

After searching online for how to get rid of cigarette smoke odor in a house my daughter recently moved into, I ran across the suggestion to try volcanic rock, which led me to finding this product. Although she is not convinced that it helped, my husband and I believe the smell did improve somewhat after she placed the bags around her house. However, we have a house we rent out that had a strange smell. We could never find a source for it, but it was strongest under the kitchen sink. I’ll be the first to admit I was skeptical, but within a couple of days of our renter placing a bag of these under the sink, the smell actually disappeared. Despite not completely helping the smoke odor, I am officially a believer because it took care of the other unidentified odor. For the cost, it’s worth a try. I’m glad that we took the chance on them!

Almost thirty years ago, I ordered some of these from a catalog--no computer! I still have one in my car and another in an under staircase closet. Once a year, I shake them outside to remove dust and lay them in the sun for a day per manufacturer's instruction. That refreshes and recharges the stones and they are ready to go again.for another year. There are no chemicals or odor, great for allergies and they work!When I discovered these on Amazon, after looking for a while, I purchased one for each closet in my house and for my husband's car. I highly recommend this natural alternative.

Good product! It helps to control the odor in the kennel area of the veterinary clinic. Open the plastic bag outside and shake off the loose stone pieces and dust. Placing it in the sun does seem to revitalize it. I use it also when tenants vacate, especially if they had a pet. It removes the lingering odor but it takes about a week to do so.

I started using these in the bedroom because we were taking our comforters every other week to the dry cleaners because the dogs like to sleep in the bed and the dog dander was smelly so I read about these and gave them a chance and since I put these in the bedroom we have never had another problem with the smell of pet dander odor since and now I place them throughout the house. For me hands down best product I took a change on buying

These work really well for our closets & storage areas to remove 'long-time storage' odors. I've rinsed ones I've had for years under a faucet to remove any dust collection, then put them out in sun, turning and shaking the bag several times. Be sure to open package over garbage can first time to catch the tiny rock particles that settle out through shipping process.

Great for dead animal smells and other foul odors

Really work for getting the chemical smell out of cheap cabinets.As far as regular odors I can't say.Could even use instead of baking soda in the fridge. (Next on the list)
