According to the box, this is only 1050 lumens. It mentions nothing about being 100 watt equivalent on the box. According to many common standards, this is a 75 watt equivalent whereas a 100 watt equivalent is 1500 or more lumens. I think it is dishonest marketing for this to be marketed as a 100 watt equivalent without even mentioning the number of lumens so people can make an informed buying decision.I almost pulled a Consumer Reports and gave this a one star to prove appoint but I hate it when Consumer Reports gives a bad rating for an otherwise really great product just to make a political point. Anyway, I feel like this is the best way to let the most people know about how the product description is misleading. This is a really great product that works well both with the Smart Life app as well as with Amazon Alexa.

This Takes so many attempts to connect, initialize and actually work, It should come with the number for suicide helpline.Got it to finally work, wife forgets and switched off the power, over an hour of trying- finally connected back. Week later, same thing.. 100% signal on all devices in the house. Light is 15 feet from a netgear router with full signal and bandwidth.I would gladly buy a hub and a much more expensive product than to ever think about getting another cheap light.Running net diagnostics found no issues.Wish I had the box it came in - so I could save my sanity.To the support people- reiterating the same instructions that I’m reading in the manual which don’t work, isn’t working in your favor.Pros: if you can get the thing to work - it works with Alexa just fine. Until someone forgets and turns off the switch, then start over from scratch and hope for the best.

Off top this bulb is awesome! It does everything I need and want it to do. After looking at the Philips brands I decided to go with this brand. It was cheaper in the long run. This bulb needs no hub and I have just as much control over the color pallet from the app,.One of the best things about this brands bulb is how bright it gets. It truly does equal a 100 watt light bulb. In reviews for other brands one of the common complaints was a bulbs brightness. Well this won't disappoint in that area. In the various white settings (I had no problems connecting the bulb to my phone. After the second scan my phone detected the bulb and I was good to go. I had not problems linking my phone to Alexa either. "Setup" was a breeze!So far I can't find any complaints about this bulb. In fact. I am going to purchase a few more for other areas of my home. I will update this review (if necessary) in a few months should anything go bad with the bulb(s). But for now this bulb gets five starts hands down.

Recently purchased a similar bulb rated at less output which has been performing well. Bought one pair of these hoping for a brighter light, something that wasnt too large to fit In a common fixture, and that would work with the smart life app my other bulb uses.Good news... These bulbs are small enough to fit in any fixture that utilizes this bulb style. They actually aren't as advertised on the package... See image. They also work with the same smart life app. I can group the two bulbs together and control then simultaneously. They work with Google home flawlessly individually. Trying to control a group of these bulbs with Google home is problematic. Often times only one bulb responds to commands. I'll keep working on this to see if there's some way to improve.The bad... These lights are not as bright as they advertise. They seem about as bright as the lower rated smart bulb I started with. About as bright as a standard 60 watt bulb. These are rated at 1000 lumens. They aren't as bright as my other standard led bulbs rated at 800 lumens.

Sometimes I shoot long conferences, interviews etc. and I would find myself constantly running out of batteries, or having to stop recording and swap them out.Picked two of these up for my GH4 and they work great. It's nice to be able to roll as long as your card goes. I did find that the barrel connector isn't quite as tight as I'd like and sometimes if you're moving the camera you have to be careful that there is no stress on the cord that could pull it out. I ended up wrapping gaff tape around all of the connections to make sure they don't pull apart accidentally.Eventually I'm going to buy a barrel connector to USB so I can use a power bank for camera power and run for hours while maintaining mobility.

I have purchase 8 of these lights and 6 of them have gone completely out and won't even power up.Setting up in the Smart Home app is crazy.Smart home would tell me it couldn't find the light but Alexa would send me a pop up notice that a new device was found.Took forever to get these to work and then... all of a sudden a few days later, NO MORE!!

Update: Bulb died after 9 months of constant usage.When I initially installed the bulb, it was significantly dimmer than the fluorescent 100 watt equivalent bulb it replaced. The default brightness is 10%. After installing the app and pairing Alexa, in full brightness and bright white, it is roughly equivalent in brightness to the bulb it replaced. Also, the bulb size is significantly larger than the florescent and most incandescent bulbs, so it will not fit all applications.

Have connected other brand bulbs and outlets without a problem but this one doesn’t work. I even bought a new fixture. When you try to get product support it says “seller doesn’t provide support”. Wish I had known that before wasting my money. This is one downside to Amazon, it’s easy to get stuck with non-working junk.
