An excellent choice.
Excellent delivery time. This is a well-designed piece of kit and I happily recommend it. Although it is plastic, I feel confident that it will last for years to come, so no insult to our lovely planet. It is very sturdy and quite intuitive to use.

works well despite design flaws
I use this for taking photos of cytology slides. I attach it to one eyepiece of my binocular microscope and slide my phone into place, jiggling it about until I get a good picture. Once the phone is positioned I can focus and move about the slide as normal whilst veiwing the image on my phone screen. It cuts dramatically the amount of seasickness I feel if I have a lot of slides to trawl through. I can also snap away as much as I want. The idea of this product is dead simple and it works well, there is not much that can go wrong. Having said that the soft plastic baffles that hold the phone in place from either side were rubbish. They deformed and slid as soon as preasure was applied and the phone would move about in use (a tiny movement makes a big difference), I discarded these and use a dod of bluetack to keep things stable.

not the most solid but does OK
I mounted this on my new binoculars for some evaluation, and came to the following conclusions:1. The rubber bits on the phone grips are utterly useless. The slightest bit of pressure and they pretty much popped off. They could have glued them on at least.2. The grips themselves are very thin and start to bend when you have "enough" pressure on them to actually grip your phone with enough force to stop it sliding off.3. Aligning the camera is a doddle. You have two axes to play with (eyepiece relief is a bit hit and miss, depending on your phone, but you can achieve full screen coverage if you zoom in and park the camera at eye distance from the eyepiece lens).A way to solve 1 and 2 is to use a couple hairties set diagonally across the screen to hold the phone down from the front (works for me) or a velcro spot on the back of the phone with the hook pad on the holder.(Image: random shot pre-sunrise through a pair of German 10x50 binoculars on a Blackview A60)

Excellent product
Good quality and sturdy. Takes a bit of fiddling around to get it all set up initially but one in place it doesn't move. It has rubber on the clamp for your phone so no worries about damaging it. Excellent for bird watching or star gazing, I would recommend to anyone.

Heaping pile of garbage.
Spent the best part of 30mins trying to secure my phone before giving up.The rubber feet that hold the phone can only be described as gelatinous when they aren't constantly slipping off the mount entirely. The plastic construction is a given...I'm not expecting anything else but the functional physical design is abysmal. Both the X, Y axis and rolling orientation of your phone are controlled by a single screw. miss one of them? Tough luck, unscrew and lose the other two. Rinse and repeat and repeat until the stars have finally aligned and you realise your phone isn't flush with exit pupil let alone level. It's currently retailing for £10.99Would I be complaining if it was £1.99?Probably yes. You still have to spend the effort to answer the doorbell and wrap it.0/10Do not buy

Nice
Has worked well on lab microscopes, relatively easy to set up, but holds very well once in spot.

Not for me
Quite a pain to setup correctly. Could not really to get it to work. Returned it the next day.

For the price, worth it but can be fiddly
Depending on what you’re fitting it to it can be fiddly; worked well with an IPhone XR and a pair of 16x50 binoculars - but once fixed and in place works very well. For the price I would recommend and on its first outing allowed some great pictures of the moon.
