Q: How do you get rid of the horrible rubber smell of these things? I cant keep them in my house.

Mine didn't smell, but I threw them in the dishwasher, then Lysol

Q: Can this be left outside in the sun and rain on a stainless steel counter?

I would not! We have stainless steel Barefoot Bar area - when we are not going to use the area we put them away in garage.

Q: Could these be used in the bottom of my sink? I’m so tired of my stainless rack.

They would have to shortened to fit most sinks, but could be laid in parallel as long as the drain is not blocked. You might be better off with larger, square or rectangular mats.
