Very nice quality, crystal clear, dishwasher safe alternative to true glass wine glasses
4/13/16 update - These have become my "go to" wine glasses for casual use. I still have my Riedel thin stems for better wines and formal dinners, but these plastic glasses have earned a well deserved spot in my wine glass collection. They come out of the dishwasher perfectly crystal clear, impart no flavor or taste to any beverage and my cat, despite her best efforts, can't break themOriginal review -I have been on a wine glass breaking tear lately, some of which were my fault from being a klutz and others just bad luck. I just broke a $15 Riedel glass last night and I've probably shattered $100 worth of Riedel glasses in the last 12 months some of which simply broke in the dish washer. I previously bought some GoVino stemless plastic wine glasses on Amazon. The GoVino glasses were really crummy so I had my reservations about the Michley plastic glasses until they arrived. They have a decent weight to them, are very clear, impart no flavor to any wine or other beverage, even Lagavulin scotch, the rims are smooth and they are certainly dishwasher safe having survived about fifteen washings so far. They are most definitely shatterproof and while they will not replace my good crystal glasses, these are my new "go to" wine glasses for daily use. These are so "glass-like" that I can't wait for the old goats who haunt my townhouse community pool to give me gas about not using glass around the pool. Homeowners associations are a total pain but that's a separate one star review.

These are somewhat flimsy, the stemless one's are better
These are somewhat flimsy glasses. They are advertised as unbreakable, but really the walls of the glass are made of such thin plastic that makes them very flexible. Also, THESE ARE NOT BOTTOM RACK DISHWASHER SAFE. I put one glass on the bottom rack of my dishwasher and melted the side of the glass to the point it is unusable. Make sure you put them in the top rackFor a price over $6 a piece, I wouldn't buy again--------------------------------------------------------------------------Update:MICHLEY has outstanding customer service. The seller replaced the glass that was damaged and sent me stemless glasses that are made of more thick plastic. I've now used the glasses with the stems (this product page) for a few weeks now and washed them multiple time on the top rack of my dishwasher. I haven't had any other problems. They still do the job and I'm confident they won't break if I drop (or even throw) them.If I were to buy more plastic wine glasses I would definitely opt for the stemless glasses from the same seller. These have a bigger cup and are made of much thicker plastic. I Bet YOU Can't Even Tell Which One Is Glass!
I was SO excited to receive my wine glasses today and my excitement did NOT deflate when I held one in my hand. They look just like glass and are so clear. I've heard some wine snobs mention about the seam, sorry but mine HAVE NO seams, there is only a slight molding variance on one side that you REALLY have to look close to even notice and if its filled with wine, you won't even see it!Anyhoo, I was getting pi$$ed at all my broken wine glasses. (3 of them within DAYS)These wine "glasses" are extremely sturdy, it's NOT a cheap plastic either, it feels strong. I won't be afraid of serving my guests these wine glasses, they'll think I'm the smart one! BEST part of all, they will not break. As proof of my experience, I posted a picture of the wine glasses including one that is REAL glass Can YOU tell which one is the real wine glass? I bet not.(theine made of glass is on the right) 😁

Meets Expectations
The promotional descriptions of these glasses and their price create pretty high expectations. They promise a product nearly indistinguishable from glass. Well, judge for yourself in the attached photo. The two glasses on the outside are MIchleys. The one in the center is real glass that cost $15 or so.. These two Michleys have been used maybe 30 times in the past 3 months, and as your can see they're still pretty close to glass. However, I have taken care not to put them in the dishwasher because I think this would inevitably lead to more cloudiness and less durability. Compared to other plastic wineglasses we have owned, they are much lighter and more elegant. They are reasonably sturdy and stable when filled halfway; definitely unbreakable in a fall from 2 or 3 feet; but should be handled with some care. Best of all, they deliver a reasonable sipping experience, close to an inexpensive white wine glass. We use then mostly outdoors, at our lakefront patio--forty yards from the back door--and on our pontoon boat, For this purpose, they are the best glasses we have had. A word of caution to the fussy connoisseurs--you're unmistakably drinking from plastic. And, they're not cheap.

After 4 Months of Use ----They Look Great
Our old ones looked bad, different brand....so we got these. First we never wash them in the dishwasher only by hand (I mean purely by hand no sponge etc). As soon as the are rinsed we dry them. After 4 months of use almost everyday they look brand new, crystal clear. I am impressed and yes we do drink a lot of wine, after all we live in the country.11/09/23 Update almost a year and after continuous use they still look new!

What is better than watching a sunset at the beach with a glass of wine and friends or family?
These wine glasses are great. They are good looking, dishwasher safe, easy to pack in a beach bag, and most importantly, unbreakable. The glasses are of a good weight and feel nice in the hand. I have used them often and they show no signs of wear. They do not tip over in a breeze. I would buy them again without hesitation.

Excellent product
These hold a good amount of liquid (I make mixed drinks in them) and they really do float in a pool!
