A great book for children to gain confidence when receiving feedback/targets from a school setting.
Sometimes feedback is not given/ heard in the most positive way. We live in times of set targets in school settings, school reports, clubs etc. Feedback can feel hurtful on times for children and us adults!!. This book helps children understand and recognise what feedback is!. I think us adults can learn a bit from this book too. Learning and understanding feedback is an Important life skill . Fabulous book!! Note: I'm not sure if a child under 6 would understand what feedback is, therefore I would recommend it for age 7+

she gets super angry. I am using this book to help ...
My 5-year-old is getting some attitude lately. When I explain she can't do something or give her feedback about something she has done, she gets super angry. I am using this book to help her understand why accepting feedback is such an important thing.

Too advanced for young children
Really dissapointed with this book. Writing level and the message is far too advanced for the pictures and target market. Also American which I did not realise, talks about 'mom' and 'parent teacher conference'.

a must for primary school children .
my 6 yr never knew what to say to positive feedback and how to take a compliment. this book is pitched at the right level of understanding . it fully illustrates the difference between compliment (positive feedback ) and teasing (negative feedback.) well worth the money .

Love this book
Love this book! Actually, I love all of the Julia Cook "RJ" books. The story is entertaining and definetly shares a lesson. Both my 4 year old and 6 year old enjoyed this book.
