Having not grown up on a Farm or Orchard, I didn't know an apple picker even existed. This thing works amazingly well. It seems to be solidly built and even when fully extended is still very solid. I used it on our tall Apple tree that produces hundreds of smaller green apples most years. I can't believe I went all these years climbing up ladders and doing other crazy things to get the apples down every year. When fully extended I can get four or five in the basket before it gets too heavy. You will get a workout in your arms if you are going high up in the tree with full extension. But it works and is well designed and built.I love it.

Just bought a new home and was happy to learn that it had a mature, fruit-bearing apple tree on the property. That was until I saw all the fruit that was on the upper branches over 15 feet in the air. I knew I was not going to be climbing anymore as those days were well behind me, so I began researching options. I stumbled upon this simple tool after looking at some more expensive and advanced ones. I'm glad I picked this up at the great price I did because it assembled quickly and I was gathering up those sweet rewards before they hit the ground and rotted. Do yourself a favor and get yourself one, it'll do the job and do it well!

Very Light Weight & easy to telescope as advised. 4.5 or 5 star rating would be given but mine came with the strap to hold the basket to the telescopic pole was missing. The missing part only cost me $1.50 at the hardware store but the inconvenience of having to run to the store is the reason for the decreased rating.

This picker is lightweight and long - great! However, when it is fully extended it's a bit weak jointed and wobbles around too much. Halting the extension 8 inches short of full open improves the stability greatly, but then you loose over a foot of reach. Still best one I've used yet, much lighter then my homemade monster. I also like that it collapses to fit in my SUV.

I gave this to my dad for his birthday and he loves it! My children love to go to his house and use it to pick apples.

I order this fruit picker weeks ago and I just received it and the metal basket arrived damaged. It's no longer round. What I learned is that I will always use prime delivery.

I absolutely LOVE this! It makes picking fruit from even the top of my tree super easy. The handles open and close to extend the length so easy. It is light weight but also super sturdy. Just what I needed.

I received my fruit picker yesterday. Missing the part to connect the basket to the pole and not instructions included. Pictures of product show a connector on the basket holding it to the pole. Would have been nice to have received this part. Guess I will return it as it is worthless as is.
