Scare Box Spider Prank

Very funny & clever prank. The simple box seemed a little obvious or questionable, so I did an update on the original design (see my attached images)! Hee-hee!

I really do like this product - it's just poorly constructed. BUT you have to pick your battles, and here's what I mean by that.The box is fine, the lid slides open fine, but it's just when you go to close it, sometimes, the spider can get stuck on the backside of the slide...and you can't close it until you stuff the spider back into the box. Now, here's why I say you have to pick your battles. It's a prank box. So it's not meant to be open and closed numerous times on end, resulting in the spider getting stuck. Your typical prank victim is going to open it one time, and then freak out, and then hand it back to you. It's not a toy as much as it is a gag gift. So yes, you have "reset the trap" if you're looking at it that way. It never gets stuck coming out of the box...only going back in. I think people commenting are looking for it to close without fail every single time, and it's not made like that...it takes 2 seconds to fix the problem and reset it for your next victim.Otherwise it works like a charm....my coworkers got the daylights scared out of them.

Constructed poorly. It is crooked so it doesn’t work properly. Bought this for a Christmas present for my son. Super bummed out because I can’t return it and get a better one now before Christmas is here. Don’t waste your money.

I ordered this product on 22 Dec, finally received it about a month later (14 Jan) from China, the product states it's a" Amish Handcrafted" Surprised Box... Unless China has imported Amish workers from Pennsylvania, totally false advertisement.... The Box is cheaply made, Balsa Wood.... a LOT smaller then what it appears in the ad.... About the size of a Deck of Cards... maybe a little smaller... Does it work... about 50% of the time.. the sliding door gets stuck... You can buy the same crap on "WISH" for $4.00 which is shipping... really disappointing......

I don't have time to review normally but had to take a few minutes for this. This thing is THE GREATEST! Received it, unpackaged it, and was really surprised how nice the craftsmanship of the the wooden box is. Now on to the good stuff....I casually handed it to my wife and said check this thing out. She was under the impression it was something else. She was sitting on the couch and lifted off about a foot when she opened the box. I wish I could of recorded it! She was a bit upset but got over it quickly as she is a good sport. She said the worst part is when it comes out and touches the hand! She is not afraid of spiders or any other creepy crawler either. I was laughing so hard I was crying.So folks, you want a great gag gift here it is. Works beautifully but warning..... be careful giving it to someone with a heart condition it's that good!!!

I have scared the beheebeegeebees out of so many people with this thing and have never laughed so hard in my life. Because the box is plane, you have to just let it sit there and wait for someone's curiosity to get the best of them. It works every time. I just purchased 2 more. 1 as a gift and the other so I could have more fun because the first one was confiscated from me by my uncle so he could take it to his Fire Station and scare the heck out of everyone. If you decorate it with some type of advertising or something you will likely have even more fun with it. The spiders, to the unknowing participant, look very real, and they come out of the box fast hitting the fingers of the unlucky ex friend of yours. People have screamed blue bloody murder.

I casually left this on a coworkers desk and could hear the scream from halfway across the floor (which is quite large). Was so popular that it managed to make its way to our Executive department were it has become quite the conversation piece. Hopefully I can get it back one of these days....ha ha.
