Scrapbook Tips & Techniques: Over 700 Scraptbook Pages & Tips

It was published around 2004 but it has many ideas that are for todays scrapbookers! I am finding it very helpful!

I have never been so impressed with a scrapbooking book. This one is fabulous for all levels from the beginner to the scrapbookers that have been doing it for years ... I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed this book and it is ONE THAT I WILL BE THUMBING THROUGH AND READING FOR YEARS TO COME I AM SURE ... I truly don't believe you would be disappointed if you bought it ... it is going in my (soon to be) new scrap room sitting on a very visual shelf so I can grab it whenever I want.

I'm a beginner and I already knew more than the book illustrated.

I really like this book. Lots of good ideas. Someone I don't know saw what I was reading and we had a 10 min. conversation over creating our pages or going digital--she does that a lot. I think I still like to create my own pages at this point. I also have Digital Scrapbooking for Dummies so after I look some more at that I may start to sway the other way--who knows!! I'll probably end up combining the 2 for different occasions. What fun!!

I loved the idea of this book, however when I received it, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't enough of a variety of different scrapbooking ideas - such as pictures of a variety of layouts, utilizing types of embellishments, and tools etc.

This book is a few years old but still has tips that work today. I took this book on a crop and used many ideas to create beautiful and fun pages. I am so happy that I purchased this book. If you are looking for an idea book with different ideas this is the book to give your pages a different spin.

Okay, I am an avid scrapbooker who is always on the lookout for new ideas. I loved this book! It detailed some uses for everyday scrapbooking items that have helped me tremendously and it also gives easy ideas to enhance my style. I have this book along with many other scrapbooking tip books, but this is one of my favorites!

The first third or so of this book is all sorts of little tips and tricks for making simple and standard techniques more unusual and making better use of your supplies. I was very pleased with it. Nothing truly ground breaking, but lots of nifty little things to do.

Ich bin seit etwa 4 Monaten dem Hobby "Scrapbooking" verfallen. Natürlich habe ich mich zunächst über die verschiedenen Techniken und zur notwendigen Materialbeschaffung informiert. Hierzu habe ich speziell auch Bücher gesucht. Leider habe ich hier nur sehr wenige gute und umfassende deutschsprachige Bücher gefunden. Eines habe ich von Simea Gut gefunden, was wirklich nicht schlecht ist, aber leider werden hier eben oft nur Einzelphotos verscrappt (was wohl jetzt der Trend sein soll). Da ich aber zur Zeit mit einem Urlaubstagebuch beschäftigt bin und mehrere Photos auf einem Layout unterbringen möchte, habe ich mir das obige Buch einfach mal auf Verdacht gekauft und ich bin, trotz ich die englische Sprache leider nicht wirklich beherrsche, vollkommen begeistert. Allein die vielen vorgestellten Layouts mit mehreren Bildern und die wirklich vielen Tipps und Beispiele der verschiedenen Techniken haben mich absolut begeistert. Schade, dass es so etwas nicht in deutscher Sprache gibt. Aber wie gesagt, alleine aus den dargestellten Bildern kann man sich wirklich sehr viele tolle Anregungen holen und auch ohne wirklich gute Englischkenntnisse die vorgestellten Techniken auf die eigenen Arbeiten übertragen. Ein wirklich klasse Buch für die Gestaltung von Fotobüchern. Die Lieferung erfolgte durch amazon und war wie immer wieder superschnell.

写真が多くて、わかりやすかった。日本で出来るのか？という手法も多々見受けられたが、それはそれで情報収集できたのでよかった。全体的に暗い作品が多かった。もう少しポップな感じだと思っていた。

Ich scrappe erst seit 4 Monaten und habe mir als Anregung diese Buch zugelegt. Es vermittelt nahezu ALLE erdenklichen Technicken, die zur Gestaltung von Fotoalben verwendet werden können. Basiswissen wie Arbeitsorganisation, Einsatz verschiedenster gestalterischen Elemente (Nieten, Ösen, Tags, Bänder usw.), Einführung in die unterschiedlichsten Handhabungen (Embossing, Stempeln, Einsatz von Motivlochern usw.) und dazu unzählige Beispiele - WUNDERSCHÖN! Dieses Buch ist eine überschäumende Inspirations-Quelle für mich - ich kann es kaum aus den Händen legen ;o).

Das Buch ist eine Augenweide beim Durchblättern, dazu muss man den Text gar nicht unbedingt lesen können! Es liefert auch beim Anschauen unzählige Anregungen und ist geschmackvoll in seinen Designs, nicht so kitschig überladen wie manche andere Bücher aus diesem Bereich. Empfehlenswert! (Der Versand aus USA hat fast einen Monat gedauert, aber das Warten lohnt sich!)
