Excellent company to source hops from
This company’s product is always fresh, and the consistency of the hops is remarkable. I make hop tea with my hops and it’s delicious. So much cheaper than buying it in the can at the grocery store.

Fresh Cascade YCH Hops
Decent price for a pound of Cascade hops shipped. These arrived quickly (in 100 degree weather) and were fresh and ready to go!The package I received were the correct hops and were name brand YCH Hops, not the generic bag pictured.I would order these again for under $19 to use in my home brews. As much as I love supporting my local homebrew store with most of my purchases, spending $3 an ounce for hops there gets very expensive when trying to make some bigger IPAs.

Overall good
Not as tightly packed as other brands. The pellets tend to fall apart. In not sure if this is due to Cascade hops in general or if it's just this batch. Flavor is great.

Great hops for a great price!
Hops arrived quickly, exactly as pictured. Brewed 2 batches with them so far, and the hops are fresh and have that great cascade smell.

Lots of crushed pellets (shipping)
Great pellets - taste and freshness. The packaging is good to keep contents fresh however it does nothing to prevent some of the pellets from getting crushed. If the package is shipped with a lot of handoffs and transfers or with other heavier packages then some of the pellets will be powder. I usually get the 3 one oz bags. I think they exhibit less crushing. I tried the larger size this time. I thought larger size = less shipments, so better packaging?, ...nope. This larger size seems to have more pellets damaged. Think I'll switch back to the smaller size. Sorry planet.

Makes good tea
makes good tea. When I quit drinking beer I started drinking tea.I don't miss beer but I needed someting a little more bitter than tea and honey. I put about 5 pellets in my 2 bag teapot and let it steep with the 2 teabags. 1st pot is quite bitter. Then I just take the bags out and leave the mash in the bottom and brew another pot. I can keep it going almost 2 days and it just mellows to a nice hop taste. You would think it would be grainy to drink, it may be a little cloudy but all the sediment stays at the bottom of the pot. I also cut my tea with soda stream soda water. So hops, tea, honey co2 water, almost have a really good tasting non a beer.
