I really like this rod for throwing light stuff. I have a Tsurinoya XF-50R mounted on it ( casting rod ) and it works great. The only knock on the rod is the reel seat. It is made to narrow for a normal reel. The reel fits OK, but the front part is only threaded halfway on. The rod loads with 1/8 oz and that's what counts.

Great bfs rod as I paired it up with a pw100 baitcaster. I got this combo for river smallish as I want to downsize my lure selection. Throws 1/8 - 1/4 ounce well. 1/16 is iffy unless it’s a jig with plastic that brings weight up. I don’t know why you would want to throw less than that anyways. Rod is surprisingly strong and can handle big fish.
