As it was published by a university press, I expected a deeper background on the Mango fruit—my mistake. This is 100% recipes.

Finally! Can't say enough about the thought and work put into this book. Yes, finally that eye opening Mango experiencemany wonder about looking at 'what to do' with these amazing fruits. For me, moving to FL 20 years ago and realizing the funand 'yummy' to bite one, cut one up and eat it right away or even save bags of slices in the freezer for drinks and more.Now wherever you are and a Mango is within reach, this book is a lovely complement.

This cook book has more than 200 delicious mango recipes. All different types of drinks, appetizers, main dishes, and many more. The "Very Mango Cheesecake" on page 166 is by far my favorite dessert, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
