Trader Joe's Dry Toasted Pignolias - Pine Nuts 8 oz bag

These pine nuts are nice and fresh, toasted perfectly. Pine nuts and parmesan are the key ingredients for pesto. I'll order these again for next season.

Small amounts available in grocery stores and very expensive. Nice to see a larger bag. Also toasted.

I like more toasted pine nuts more for more flavor so I did.

These are wonderful!! Pine Nuts are always expensive, so I don't buy them often, but when I do I want quality product. I worried that maybe they would be a bit stale or heavens forbit turning a rancid note, if they had been sitting in a warehouse somewhere. These were so fresh and flavorful!!

I always bought Pignoli nuts at Trader Joe's because the price was reasonable but now, like everything else, the price has increased. These are probably more reasonably priced than most, but still expensive but delicious.

I love them in salads, casseroles and eggs. They were ptetty small nuts though.

Pine nuts are on the small side. I have a wonderful pasta recipe with pine nuts, raisin, mint, lemon zest and tomatoes. I bought these for that recipe and because of their smaller size they got lost in the sauce. I have been making this recipe for years and never been disappointed before. The nuts do have a great taste and are wonderful in pesto. The pine nuts were fresh and the price can not be better. I will order these again for pesto. If you want them to stand on their own whole in a recipe they are slightly disappointing.

I thought the bad would be bigger but I don't often need to but pine nuts. They're great on salads though
