Expensive but Good
Standard LED bulb. We use them in mini-cans in our kitchen. They work well, casting a bright but not overly harsh light. I cannot speak to the issue of cost vs. longevity since we have only used these particular bulbs for a year now, but none have died. If they begin to fail early I will initiate another review. As of now I have nothing negative to report about the product or the process of getting the product.

Perfect color temp
The biggest drawback of the LED lamp for household use is the color temperature. 3000K is the money number. This was a replacement for a hard to find color temp when we went LED in our home 2 years ago.

Ecosmart aren't the best quality, and are cheap. But are they worth the asking price? NO!
I received these free, due to a recall on another ecosmart LED bulb. These were to replace the recalled LED bulb, and honestly... they aren't worth even free. They flicker when attempting to dim them, and the output is NOT equivalent to 50W. Not compared to the phillips LED that is next to it in my kitchen (in a 4" recessed can fixture). I have 7 fixtures in my kitchen, and two of these can't even put out similar light to one phillips 50W equivalent. They are bad enough, that I'm going to put them back in the box and give them away. Even for free, they won't work for my needs (dimming, and bright on full setting). I'll go pay retail for a quality LED.The Phillips bulb I am comparing, is a #426114. For a few dollars more, you get a twice as nice LED light.

Cool!
It was a smaller size than expected but I know where I can use it in case a bulb goes out. Thank you!

Best Color Temperature
I have purchased over 10 different brands of LED 2700-4000k light bulbs and they all have a horrible green tint to them. These are the first ones that actually have the exact warm bright white incandescent look to them that I'm use to from the incandescent days. A little pricey but you get what you pay for well built construction and the right color temperature. Two thumbs way up on these!
