WAGASHI Special set Assorted 10 kinds Japanese Candy, MOCHI, Konpeito, Yokan, Jelly dessert (SP10)

It came in tight box packaging very sturdy and safe. The mochi was soft and yummy the yokan was nice and all the candies delicious. Everything was so cute. made a perfect birthday gift. :)

The first thing I tried was the little strawberry pancake thing. It literally is two pancakes. In the middle is some strawberry red bean paste. Loved it!The mochi I got was either coffee or peanut butter? Not sure which but it was ok. My least favorite in the pack.The milk tea candy is alright as well. Not one of the top though. The jelly dessert was a red bean and coffee flavor. Wasn't bad. Refreshing in a way. The dango is covered in sugar.The Yuzu and matcha green tea candy is very tasty. The ginger lemon chews are amazing as well. My favorite has to be the little star rock sugar the kenpeito~ I adored the matcha gum as well. It's smooth and very soft. Makes for a nice chew.I'd recommend if you are curious about Japanese sweets. Not a bad price either at 10 bucks.

I definitely liked 9 out of 10 items in the box. My least favorite was the I believe, the pudding (didn't like). My favorite had to be the milk tea hard candies and the konpeito (others I tasted had no taste, while these did). While the tea flavored stuff took a little to come to adjust to. I did try another Japanese goodie box and although this one has less compared to the other, this box is way more sharable. Thank you to the seller for allowing people to get a taste of Japan. Please keep selling Japanese goodies.

Most of but not all of the contents of the box were what they were supposed to be , the labeling is all in Japanese without an English language list of contents or any other way to know exactly what you are getting without either knowing Japanese (which should not be a requirement for anything sold on the English language Amazon site. ) or relying on google translate. The number of items is correct but the size of each one is rather small. it wasn't really worth the price or the wait.

Most are like fruit slices w/sugar (orange slices,etc) but circular ,some hard candies and flowers are rock candy...my fave was milk tea hard candy & molasses Styrofoam ,lol--sure it's a wafer but it's puffed, it makes me think this is what eating those styrofoam peanuts would feel like but tastes really good (if you like Grandma's Molasses)
