Much nicer than expected
The dagger is very well made indeed; fit and finish is great, with smooth transitions between the parts, but it's just imperfect enough that you know it was handmade rather than cranked out by a machine. The brass parts do appear to be solid brass, and are nicely shaped and polished. They have not been over-buffed though - all the edges and corners remain well-defined. The hilt is made of white bone, presumably cow or camel, and the black spacers either end appear to be horn. The blade is very nice, with reasonably even grinds on all four bevels. Again, not perfect, but only to the extent that it shows that it was made by an experienced craftsman not a machine. Even the sheath is surprisingly nice. It does appear to be made of real leather, and has an attractive stamped pattern on the front. If I have one criticism, it is that the sheath is molded to the shape of the blade rather than welted, but I'm really nitpicking here. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the dagger. Note that I have not used 'for the price' as a qualifier for any of my comments - it is nice, period. The fact that it also happens to be so inexpensive is a welcome bonus. I'm seriously considering buying another one just because it's such a bargain.

A well made weapon
When I purchased this dagger, I did not have very high hopes at all. I was only buying it as a prop for the Ren Fair and really didn't consider it more than a metal toy. I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised at this WEAPON! The blade is thick enough to be a sturdy knife, the edges are sharp (be careful), the cross guard is heavy and tight to the blade and the handle feels good. This dagger has a solid weight and the pommel is weighted well enough to give reasonable balance making the feel in my hand good. I was also concerned about the sheath looking cheap, due to the picture showing light brown leather. Honestly, the sheath is made as well as the knife. It is much darker than the picture (a good thing) and thick well made leather. It matches the chocolate brown of the other items I will wear and I didn't have to dye it darker myself. I have supplied a picture on a grey towel so that the color comes through well. In summary... a well made dagger and sheath and at a wonderful price point!

Sweet little letter opener
Was originally looking at letter openers that looked like swords and stumbled onto this thing. For the same price it’s beefier, and more “sword-looking” if you imagine yourself a giant while opening snail mail. Can’t really attest to its use as an actual dagger but as a little statement piece on my faux vintage desk it looks great next to my wax seal stamp kit and dip pen lol.

Worth it
The dagger is very nice quality and a great addition to my ren faire outfit. The only thing though is that the sheath is more orange than brown, so it does not really match the brown I was going for. The dagger itself is nice. It’s not sharpened so it can be brought to the faire, but the tip of the blade is pointy so you have to be careful. Overall it’s very nice

Great quality but I thought it was going to be fake
I was under the impression I was receiving a fake dagger due to me typing in FAKE or theatrical prop in the search bar. When I received it it was in fact a real sharp blade. This was my fault for not reading the reviews. I cannot send it back but did get a refund. The quality is gear for the price and it was a beautiful piece but just incase someone else did what I did and typed in what I did and received a real dagger, it is in fact real and very sharp lol!

Nice dagger
I was pleased with this dagger when it arrived. It was not sharp out of the box but it feels solid and the brass and bone really add to the beauty of this knife. It did sharpen up nicely to a razor sharp edge. The only area where I felt the quality could have been a little better was the centerline of the blade, which was nor perfectly straight, but acceptable for a $13.44 knife. (As of this writing it has gone up to $16.77) Other reviewers said that the sheath was crappy, but I think it is just fine. It is made of leather and plenty adequate for this knife. So, in my opinion, for the price it is a good value, I am happy with it and would definitely recommend the purchase of this blade.

Not worth it
It looked nice when it came in but it spent a couple hours in its case/sheath/protected and it turned completely brown

Quality and sharp
Surprising quality! The grip is nice, fits in hand very well. Not safe for children, very sharp point. Also comes with sheath
