This was the correct ink and worked as accordingly.

I just purchased two of these cartridges, Cyan and Yellow, BOTH are showing only 25% full after installation and rebooting of my printer. Quite disgusted! Definitely not worth the price if you don't get anywhere near the ink volume. Hell! I am barely above where I was with my last two ink cartridges.

What do you need me to explain? It's ink for certain brother printers. Works fine, packaged well and cost less then the big retailers. Why drive around or do several web searches for ink on several retailer sites? Just go to amazon.com type in cartridge number and presto, up pops the best ink selection you'll ever find. Forget trying the really cheap remanufactured inks you see everywhere, or the really cheap imported inks9usually in clear cartridge housing), been there my self. What a nightmare trying off brand cheap inks. One leak and the money you saved is wiped out as well as you printer. Genuine Brother inks can't be beat for quality printing at an affordable price. I love my Brother ink-jet printer, Model MFC-j870DW, its quality, ease of use and availability of a standard 300-page ink budget-priced (series LC101)--- and a slightly higher-priced high-yield 600-page ink (series LC103).Plus, you must have all four ink colors in the printer: cyan (blue), majenta red, yellow, and black---but, depending on what you print, youmay, for example, use more black or red, and need to replace only those two empty cartridges instead of all four, or if you just useblack print---you need to replace only black ink! This saves a lot of expense for ink that you may not need!There are three models for this ink-jet printer & Fax: MFC-j650DW, j870, and j875.

It's a cartridge that is made for the brother printer, of course, it works fine. However, in no way do these cartridges last for hundreds of pages. High Yield is a fallacy.
