Weak and unstable - UNSAFE - buy a real bed!
My two year old son (about 33lb) has slept in his converted bed for 9 whole days before we realized how absolutely unsafe and weak the wooden rails are. As my husband leaned down to say goodnight, the rail closest to my sons head snapped down the middle and sent him tumbling into the headboard. We were still waiting on additional support rails to come in the mail (thanks to the extreme shortage of any wood product) but were under the impression that the frame with the four provided slats would be fine alone. Besides, my son is light and he has a memory foam mattress that probably weighs less than him.I cannot even begin to describe how sick I feel that I trusted this conversion kit to be safe for my child. He has never jumped on his bed, and I’m so thankful he has not.Amazon cannot/will not send out just replacement parts and wanted me to disassemble the entire bed to ship back to them. Completely ridiculous and unreasonable. They will not refund the product, even a fraction for just the one broken slat. I cannot believe we were duped into a) buying a convertible crib that has been a money pit (seriously - $500 for the crib and $300 to convert it?!) and b) are stuck with a shoddy product. If you are considering converting your child’s crib I beg you to reconsider and look into buying a new bed with a metal frame - not only will it be the same exact price as this conversion kit plus extra wooden slats, it will be a safer option.

Mediocre at best
These rails fit the Sorelle crib that I purchased them for, however I am not impressed with this for a few reasons.1. My daughter is two and a half and we figured we would put a boxspring on the floor and a matress on top of that to keep the bed low for a while. Because of the way the rails are installed, the support makea it nearly impossible to make the bed without the rails becoming unlatched from the headboard and footboard.2. To remidy this we decided to install the cross braces and just use the mattress. This does go together, but the rails are pine and they are not stiff enough. Like any kid, she jumped on the bed while i was finishing and the rails flex way too much. With my wife or I sitting next to her and i couldnt imagine this lasting long (total of maybe 175-180lbs on the bed). I replaced the 4 pine rails with 6 poplar rails and a reinforcing 1x2 vertically installed (think like a T shaped cross section) and now it is rock solid.3. The kit didnt come with plastic screws or some covers to go over the threaded holes normally used on the crib sides. Small thing, and a hardware store solved this, but it would be nice to include them.Overall, not impressed with the cost compared to some of our friends crib conversions.

Doesn't fit perfectly
I have the Sorelle Vista Elite crib. This is my third child and my third crib conversion. I never bought the conversions provided by the company (my husband is handy and would retro-fit inexpensive frames). It's hard to find the hook frames and I had a little trouble with fitting my last crib so we decided just to go for the no-worry solution and buy the frame meant for the crib full-bed conversion. Well...it's loose. I spent over $100 for a frame that now shakes. My handy husband is going to have to fix this one too. At least it looks good and my husband can fix it (spending a little more $) which is why I'm giving it a 3/5,

You'd expect to get everything with the kit and not have to spend more to make it sturdy
Not happy with quality. Poor packaging caused it to get dinged up during shipment. You'd expect that the conversation kit will include everything to actually make it usable. I had to buy additional slats as the kit only comes with 4 and is not enough to support anyone on the bed. The additional slats seller sells is $80, i ended up going to Lowe's and making my own slats from better and cheaper wood. Ended up costing another $30. Manual is also useless. Avoid yourself the headache and buying a kit that has everything ready to go out of the box!

Not everything you need for a sturdy frame.
It's definitely easy to install however! The slats for the center are very weak and since there are only 4 of them they definitely do not cover the length of the bed with good enough support. I was afraid to even test lay on it after installing them. Thinking if getting more slats that are stronger because j know once my kid trys to jump on the bed it's going to break.Little annoyed even after spending money on this kit, I still need to go out and buy more slats for it to be actually functional a supported bed frame.

Great Product!
I was concerned when ordering, since this wasn't a Sorelle product. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The product came quickly and appears to be good quality. It was a breeze to install. Directions were written in clear English (although, you didn't even need the directions since everything came pretty much ready to go). We have the Vista Elite crib and it fit perfectly. I would recommend choosing this product over other conversion kits and save yourself some $$$!

Money Pit
I got this for our Vista elite crib. Thinking we would save money, we purchased this kit. Upon arrival, the railing was dented all throughout and it came with FOUR slats. That’s it. Just four.Spent another $70 to buy more slats so this bed would be useable and it still doesn’t feel too sturdy. Save your money and buy elsewhereWe did not return this because we live in Hawaii and we’re told we would have to transport it to a UPS on the other side of the island for return.

Easy to Install
It is easy to install. For assembly, you need to think a little. Put rails on bed first, second measure and determine locations of screws, third put the beams, fourth screw in its place. If you do assembly outside of your bed it may be very hard to feet in your bed. I suggest complete assembly on the bed
