Good deal. Less than 10 bucks per mth. And they throw in a few starter kit (you probably have to buy them for 10usd from physical shops).Like what is mentioned in the description. 500min talktime, 500 SMSes, 500MB data. 500 min talktime forincoming/outgoing + local/international calls. What I like about it:- Cheap plan, good coverage (using GSMA), customer service that replies quite promptly and are helpful, free international calls (or in this case, eats into your 500 min of talktime)- Edit: I went to the Poconos for a hike with my friends. Most of them did not have telecommunication signal/ mobile data. But I still do. So the reception is proven to be good even in non urban areas. What I didnt like:- Lack of a physical presence/shop in my area (so it's really hard to get help or purchase the product in person. Everything has to be done virtually). I also felt deceived about the 500 SMSes: the 500 includes the sending AND RECEIVING of texts. It's abit unjust since I cant control who texts me/ incoming ads or spams and I have to 'pay' for it. At least I can decline a call (and not get charged for talktime), but I thought it's only right to charge customers for outgoing SMSes.Nonetheless, for less than 10USD/month, I shouldn't be complaining too much about its drawbacks. Furthermore, if you finish your talktime/SMSes/data you can just top it up via their website.

Wow! Very pleased with cost, ease of porting, and quality of service
Fantastic mobile service at a great price! Was able to port my existing number within 24 hours and was quickly up and running. Here is what I like:1) Choice of 4 major cellular networks. I had been a longtime AT&T customer, but had marginal signal strength at home. I chose to activate CDMA (Verizon) on a new phone with Red Pocket and obtained better signal strength and comparable coverage in my area.2) Cost - can't be beat.3) Abilty to add additional package of incremental minutes/ texts/ data on the Red Pocket website in heavy usage months.4) No long term contract.

Amazing deal and good customer service
I had previously been paying $45/month to Verizon for a phone plan I barely made use of, so naturally, seeing a plan for $8.50/month made me really skeptical because it seemed too good to be true. That said, I have had no complaints so far. The value is insane compared to any other company I've looked at, and getting to choose the network is a huge benefit over other MVNOs.I ended up getting a new phone and going with the GSMA plan (which uses AT&T's network). The wireless service is exactly what I would expect from AT&T in my area—I don't feel like my phone is noticeably de-prioritized on the network in any way. I initially had an activation issue where I accidentally put the wrong SIM card into my phone, and the customer service representative (via chat) spotted and solved the issue within minutes.I've had Red Pocket for about 3 months now and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who doesn't need an unlimited plan.

Doesn't Activate with existing number
This might work with a new phone and new phone number. But after 17 days trying to use existing phone and number, mine is still not activated and just shows "Portin-Resolution Required" status on the account web page with nothing being done.

Excellent so far
Super easy to get started. The only real probs I had were my own lack of knowledge, and tech support answered my questions and had me going in less than 10 minutes working through chat. Less than half what I was paying at Verizon, and I get the same service since my sim card uses a horizon tower. I love that it came with several sim cards, so I can use whichever major network I want, and can switch between them at no charge if I need to when I'm traveling.

Stop paying the major carriers full price!!
Anyone who still pays the major carriers full price is a fool. I got this for my son's (he is 10) first phone. I couldn't be happier! He doesn't need 5 meg of data. He just needs to be able to call/text mom and dad. Setup is easy too.

Great deal & works with existing Red Pocket phone accounts
I was wondering if it would work with an existing Red Pocket phone account and it works just fine. Be aware that it takes a couple days to get the code emailed that is needed to enter into your Red Pocket account.

Non-existent customer service
Customer service is the worst I've seen, & I thought Straight Talk was bad. The phone number somehow gets disconnected with months of service left. If you try to call out, tells you "pjone number you're trying to call is not available", if someone trying to call you, tells them your "phone number has been disconnected". Money's not really saved when they sell you something for a specific length of time & then disconnected your service part way through that time.
