Lettuce Knife, Plastic, Green

This may be popular as a lettuce knife, but I use it mostly for cutting brownies. It is quick and the brownies don't stick to the blade.

Look! No brown edges! Using this knife is so much faster and easier than tearing the lettuce apart. Feels good in the hand, too. I eat only iceberg lettuce, nothing fancier, and for that it's great.

I preferred the older, perhaps less ergonomically-designed version of this product. I was so pleased when I came across it recently and saw that the photo looked just like the one I first bought. Prior to that, I had bought what I thought was another just like it, only to discover it was differently-shaped. Then I came across this one and was delighted to see that it looked exactly like the one I preferred. The item I received, though, was just like the second one I got that was shaped not as much to my liking. I don't use the knife for lettuce, though both versions work very well for that. I use it for cutting brownies and other bar cookies. The newer shape is just trickier to use for that purpose. I will not try again. I now have three "lettuce" knives but only one of the kind I prefer.

I bought 2, one as a gift. It is perfect for cutting lettuce. I use it regularly.

I unboxed an entire IKEA kitchen using this plastic knife. Safe and effective. Totally game changer if you use a ton of boxes to open like I did!!

Nice enough knife, "blade" could have been sharper as you have to be careful not to crush the lettuce when cutting it.

I bought this knife for my Aunt over a month ago. She loves it and raves about it to me often. She is elderly and tearing lettuce isn't easy for her arthritic hands.
