It has a 3/8" insert that reduces to a smaller thread into the actual antenna.

Can this go thru the car wash?

Just got this today. Instructions say "Caution: It is very important to remove the antenna before going thru a car wash!" so use in car wash at your own risk, I guess. The reason I go his is because my original broke off in a car wash

Would this fit on a older ‘88 Bronco?

I’m not sure about the bronco. I installed it on a 2018 F150 and it fit just fine

Small yet powerful

easy installation. radio signal is the same as the factory antenna. Haven't gone through car wash yet. but should hold up.

Love it. Way better than the Eiffel tower OEM antenna. Doesn't swing around when driving, and not in your field of view. Reception seems about the same, but haven't gotten far from cities since I installed it.
