Hardwood Tortilla Press - Maple, Oak and Walnut- 10 inch

Pros:- Quality wood and craftsmanship.Cons:- Should be shipped with rubber stick-on furniture bumpers (feet) for the bottom to prevent sliding on the counter-top. Luckily, I had four screw-type spares that I installed.- To prevent marring of the wood handle and wood press plate, I had to install two additional furniture bumpers. Otherwise, the wood will get marred with over time with continued use.- Additionally, I had to install a washer for the nut that secures the handle to the unit.These are all items that should ship with the product, but, unfortunately, do not:- Six small furniture bumpers. 4 - 1/2" diameter for the bottom; two 3/8" diameter for the handle and press plate.- One nut washer.See attached photos.

I have not used it yet--but it is really beautiful and well crafted. You have to attach the handle yourself with a crescent wrench. I have it sitting on the top of the fridge--to pretty to hide in a cupboard. I presume it will work like any other tortilla press--no reason why it shouldn't. Mix up the masa and put the dough golfballs between sheets of wax paper and press. I like the fact that it is big enough to make large tortillas. I only make corn ones. Quite frankly, I do not care if I ever use this one, I like it well enough for kitchen décor.

This purchase has absolutely no bad side about it. It is a fantastic example high superb workmanship quality. It’s certainly a work of art that with care will provide a lifetime plus of functionality. If you can afford it and appreciate quality, then without further hesitation, make this a purchase you’ll not regret. I did.

Our school hosts multicultural night once a year. I purchased this to allow kids to make their own tortillas and it worked like a gem for making hundreds of tortillas. Beautiful craftsmanship.

This is simply a beautiful product, and I keep it on my kitchen counter. I probably only make tortillas a couple of times a month, but homemade are SOOOO much better, and it is enjoyable to use such a beautiful press to make them.

Nothing like they say it is. Waste of money

The tortilla press is beautifully made! I made corn tortillas for the first time, and they turned out the perfect thickness and were delicious. Very easy to use!

I have used this press three times. It worked perfectly every time. Very easy to use and consistent results. It is beautiful, also. Great craftsmanship.
