Quantum Chemistry

Highly logical and advanced.
The book is highly mathematical in nature and before reading the book students should brush up their mathematical skills. The book is mostly based on calculus and linear algebra. The problem sections are really good and challenging which includes numericals and proof based questions.

Good book for beginners
It's a well known book for Quantum chemistry. But, if you already good in concepts and mathematical background needed for QM, Attila Szabo's Modern Quantum Chemistry will be a good choice.About quality of book: Good and looks new. packaging was good.

Go go deeper into ur self to understand this book
Dont buy online.. As this book's original price is 495/-....If u know mathematics (advance).. Then u can understand this book. Giving 4 star for the book only.. If i consider delivery time and all that then it will only 2 star. But anyways the book has high level of concept.. If u want to be updated then this book is one of them for that option

Good book, but not great.
The book does well until you reach chapter 8. Those who are learning hartree fock and LCAO-MO for the first time will get very confused, not very well explained. It has more equations and less of the understanding one must have to approach the problem. Some of the crucial results are given as questions for which you will have to buy the solution manual as well.None the less, a nice book to study elementry problems of quantum chemistry, particle in a box, harmonic oscillator, rigid rotor, hydrogen atom. Great practice questions.

Learn by doing
It is entitled Quantum Chemistry, but be advised that only two chapters deal with molecules! An attractive feature of this book is that the end of chapter problems are not just for review, but can be used for instructional purposes - to have students learn by doing. DFT is a prominent omission.
