PROMETHEUS LIGHTS Lambda Spinning Top (Solid Brass, Stainless-Tipped)

I collect tops and this the best top I have bought. It is beautiful and spins very well. It quickly stabilizes and then spins a long time. The one downside is that it is expensive, but if you can afford it, it is worth it.

I love this Lambda spinning top, it’s such a well balanced, beautifully designed top, have been able to get 8 plus minutes of spin time, on many of my spins, very happy with it, I bought another brand of top, 3 weeks before I pulled the trigger and got this one, so happy I did, this top has better quality, the stem is smaller in diameter than the other one, has deeper cut knurling, which for a Woman's hand is better for getting a great spin, the fact that it is made in America, right here in California to be exact, makes it a win win for me, Bravo to Jason Hui, for designing, this perfect spin top.

The media could not be loaded.  This copper spinning top, is my second purchase of the Lambda tops, really think it is a very nice addition to my spinning tops, spins a very long time, got 10 min 32 seconds on my first spin. It’s a little heavier than the brass top, so it goes longer on a spin, these tops from Jason Hui, really are great tops, I’m really loving the discounts on the cost of these Lambda tops right now, good time to get one, at a great price.

OK. I mean, it's a 100 dollar piece of jewelry that you can't wear. It's a beautiful little thing that evokes 50s cars and steampunk contraptions. It's my first high end top, so I've got nothing to compare it with, but I really like it. My longest spin is nearly 12 minutes. I fully expect to improve on that.The metal is soft, so it will get scratches. It's okay. Let it go. It came with a little polishing cloth, which is a nice touch, but personally, I can't wait for it to get a bit of a patina. I do wish it was slightly larger....
