Libro en malas condiciones
The media could not be loaded. The book is really good (it’s the second time that I bought it), but comes in awful conditions. All the corners are damaged, wrinkled, even one of it has tape.It supposed that this was a new book...I recommend not to buy in this store or even Amazon, it’s too expensive to this quality...

More than a landscape book: Truly stunning, diverse collection of photos with an international flair
OK, now THIS is a coffee table book! The quality of the photos, on semi-gloss paper, is superb ... every little detail is clear and the colors pop. The photos are big, too--either a two page spread or a one-and-a-half page spread for each with no margin (full page) or a narrow white margin. It certainly "feels" bigger than its dimensions (10.3 x 1.3 x 10.2 inches).Although this is currently #1 in landscape photography books, it is much more than that. Yes, there are many landscapes, but there are also gorgeous photos of people, birds & animals & other wildlife, sea creatures, sporting events & unique local events, festivals and traditions, such as the Holi festival in India, where "celebrants douse each other with colored powder." They really are stunning. The photos are broken into the following categories (and there's lots of variety in each section and in the book as a whole):- Mystery- Harmony- Wit (one of my favorite sections--see Kieran Doherty's photo of competitors in the UK Cold Water Swimming Championship--fabulous)- Discovery- Energy- IntimacyMy only problem with this book is that I bought it as a gift... but don't want to give it away. Looks like I'll be buying a second copy. :-)

It is already the best seller in photojournalism!
The photographs included in the latest National Geographic Book (Stunning Photographs) edited by Annie Griffiths are truly stunning! I can give 10 gold stars to the entire book as well as to each one of the fine images. The book has been out exactly a month today and already it has become the best seller in photojournalism. What a great achievement by National Geographic! This book would make a perfect gift for this Christmas! People of all ages can really enjoy reading the book for sure!

Great coffee table book!
This book is filled with, well, exactly what the title describes. It contains an amazing selection of photos from Nat Geo's archives and I actually ended up reading through the entire book in a single sitting. I've found it makes for a great coffee table book, as people actually pick it up and read it while we're all hanging out in the living room. Very cool and worth the purchase price.

Perfect
Stunning is a perfect adjective for the photographs in this book. I love that they not only include the photographs but quotes along with them. Beautiful book altogether... I can sit for an hour just savoring it. Highly recommend. I also purchased "Rarely Seen" but those photos are, as stated, thing that are rarely seen and just really cool... but this one is more jaw-dropping awe-inspiring.

A wonderful treasure!
Bought it to give as a present. When I looked through it I wanted to keep it for myself.
