Works for me
Works for me, had no major issues, been using this for over a year. I use this with a 2 way HDMI switch and I do have an issue with the monitor sometimes not displaying the signal when switching inputs. I have to fix this by turning off the monitor for a few seconds and back on. However, I don't know if it's this, the switch, cables, or monitor that's the issue and haven't tried figuring it out yet. I don't see complaints about this with this product, so probably something else.

Works fine with some adapters, not so great with others
When I use this with a USB-C to HDMI adapter, it makes my mouse hang every few seconds. The motion of the mouse looks like it's twitching when I'm just moving it across the screen. My guess is that it's not giving the USB-C to HDMI adapter a good, solid signal. With a different USB-C to HDMI adapter, it works fine. But both USB-C to HDMI adapters work fine without this device. IDK where the problem lies, but it's somewhere in the interaction between this device and certain USB-C to HDMI adapters.

Best if used before 60 days
Worked perfectly for almost two months, then stopped working entirely.

Great for Mac Mini
Solved problem of using Mac Mini with or without a connected display. Now I can easily switch between using the Mini with a connected HDMI display in my studio, and using only an iPad as the display when performing at an event. The Mini is much happier thinking there is a display connected all the time.

Can turn off TV now with no computer problems
Every time I turned off my TV, the computer would make a mess of my desktop, crash applications, or lose sound. I tried two other much more expensive EDID emulators before this one and neither worked. This one works!

Great for what it does!
This is a great device, it solves the monitor off at bootup issue on my PI's and also for remoting into the machine with the monitor off, allowing remote user to use full resolution. Love it.

Only a black screen...
I got this in hope of fixing issues with my 4K TV and 1080P surround system where devices try and default to 4K and make everything spazz out. My first test with a computer looked promising, when I went to select the monitor resolution I was offered only choices up to 1080P, seemed perfect. Unfortuniately, nomater what I did not my computer nor any game systems or set top players would pass a signal thru to the TV -- I only got a blank black image on the TV. I tried going directly into the TV (bypassing the surround system and selectors) still no joy, even connecting devices with only this adapter and nothing else in line I got only a blank screen. As soon as the adapter was removed, picture would appear...as soon as I put the adapter back, only blank black screen.

Emulates 60hz not 59.94hz
I had to use for the headless unit. One it worked great for, but the second was more specific. In the description it says it emulates a 59.94hz device but unfortunately it emulates 60hz. Close, but when you have a super picky output device (Blackmagic ATEM) it's not going to work. So, great device but it's at 60hz not 59.94hz.

can flash any EDID
You can rewrite any EDID to it using galkinvv/edid-checked-writer from github. Unlike other EDID passthrough, this one does not have write protection which is good. second picture shows newly assigned EDID that I flashed.
