Fits either one since the mount-ring is the same size. These truly seem to be made of a kidskin type of leather (think batters or golf glove) unlike the vinyl coated foam on the 700's. It took about 4 years for my 700 ear pads to decompose so, I bought 2 pair just to have an extra set for many years later, I hope. The one thing I noticed about these pairs are; they are a slightly larger ring width - meaning a little less space inside for your ears and seems to warm up sooner.FYI: My 900's are old also, and came with leather ear pads and a leather headband when they were produced back when. Noticed that the new ones for sale don't have leather now...Thanks, YunYiYi

Fit and finish every bit as good as the original JVC pads. Received in 10 days.

They seem to be well made and were a perfect fit for my headphones.
