The reseeded spots are now the greenest and best growing spots in the whole lawn
Bought a pound of this seed last year to seed a few patches of lawn I had dug up for sprinkler work. The longer term plan is to replace large sections of lawn with clover and overseed the remaining lawn with clover for a mixture. I seeded four 1 sq/ft sections last fall, mixing the clover seed and Scotts EZseed grass seed with a third of the seed being clover. I planted around the end of October and started seeing a little growth by mid-November before it got buried in the snow. Once the snow melted off and the temps started warming up that clover came up with a vengeance. The reseeded spots are now the greenest and best growing spots in the whole lawn. The ratio I used was all wrong as the clover overwhelmed the grass. I had read a mixture of one clover in ten grass seed was best, but I didn't listen because more is always better right?Well, the clover is very green and stays so with much less water than the grass. In fact, is has never been anything but green since I planted it while the grass has been everything between yellow and green. It seems to grow to around 4-6 inches tall but I'm not completely sure because I have been mowing it along with the lawn. After mowing it grows back much faster than the grass. Also, when I mow it all the leaves are taken off the top leaving nothing but the green stalks, however the leaves come back quickly. All of this has been true in a dry (30%), hot (85-90) climate about 4500 ft above see level in a 6a hardiness zone.My lawn looks pretty stupid with four 1sq/ft patches growing greener and taller than the rest. I'll be getting more of this seed to see if I can fix that come fall.

Wasted a month of water hoping for a sprout. This coated crap is mostly coating, little seed per pound, and never grows.
Dead seed, Nothing grew, wasted a month of water hoping for a sprout. 30 days should have been more than enough with the rain we have had, warm temps and water for the dry days. I have yet to get a single product with that crap they coat it with to ever grow. it is typically more coating per pound than seed and never grows. I think they just coat sawdust or sand grains or something and call it seeds. Had the same thing happen with fancy grass seed.

I haven't planted yet, but have purchased in the past and it was just as it was presented, my order arrived on time and I'll probably order again in the future.

Great germination rate!
I scattered seed on top of bare soil in March, covered with straw. It’s April 30th today and there’s lots of little clover plants growing, especially where it stays moist.

It started growing right after I planted it and is still growing
It started growing right after I planted it and it is still growing. I mixed it with the grass in the yard because the grass doesn't grow well
