Not only FedEx but also some other delivery guys have the annoying habit of ringing the bell followed by leave the package and run. Of course, that was a poor solution because you need the doorbell for all the other occasions. Here comes the white knight: a remote-control switch. It really solved our dilemma beautifully. The installation is easy, especially if you do the connections right. I have to admit that initially I taught that I had a bad unit because I made a wrong connection. You need to connect the transformer output with a new wire to the input of the RCS and the existing wires to the output of the RCS. Essentially, if you do it wrong the green light does not come on. And in the end, they all lived happily thereafter...

I am stunned. I was only about 40% confident this AC remote light switch would work. It is a game changer. I bought it to turn on a security light outside my woodshop. It works perfectly! Range from the house is around 100 feet through several walls. I mounted the receiver inside the shop in the peek of the roof about 14 feet high and it works first time every time. However the two remotes each have their own channel. It is very helpful that the remotes are interchangeable so they can be left in 2 different locations to turn the light on with one and off with the other

We have this on our well pump and it's great. We also have it on our water intake pump which is about 100' below our house and it works great. We are very happy with these and the 2 remote units don't share the same remote code so you don't accidentally turn on another pump with the other remote. They are easy to install and last a long time.

I have an Eco-Worthy Solar Controller 155 ft down a hill where my well is and I wired this switch to turn my pump on or off remotely. It fit nicely inside the box, I drilled a hole in the bottom for the antenna to stick out. I no longer need to walk down the hill to turn it on and off.

I was hoping to use this to switch a ground expecting the output switch connected the output + and -. I cannot do that because the two negatives are connected and it switches the input positive to the output positive. Otherwise this thing works awesome.
