Vapor Apparel Women’s UPF 50+ UV Sun Protection Long Sleeve Performance Regular Fit T-Shirt for Sports and Outdoor

The crewneck style has never been very flattering on me so I usually avoid, but as I'm getting older (55), finding a must to protect the décolletage area that's especially sensitive to sun (even though I'm religious with high SPF sunscreen). After reading reviews and looking at colors (and price), decided to try and SO glad I did! Very very happy with fit, color, etc. I normally wear a small or XS, but given reviewer recommendations I ordered both a small and medium, and the small was too binding/tight under the arms and across the chest - will return. I am 5'6" 133 lbs, bra size 32DD so a little tricky with top sizes, but the medium is perfect. Would call it 'semi-fitted'.I ordered the pearl gray and the sea grass color (in short sleeve), and happy to report the short sleeve sizing consistent with the long sleeve (you never know!). Definitely recommend.

I have a Vapor sun shirt that I wear all the time and wanted to get another. I ordered both the slim fit and regular to see the difference. The bottom shirt in my pic (arctic blue) is slim fit size S, the middle (sea grass) is slim fit size XS, the top (pink blossom) is regular fit size XS. The slim fit is slimmer, it comes in at the waist, it's a little longer, and has longer sleeves (my biggest annoyance with my old shirt.) The regular fit is a little wider, doesn't come in at the waist, but still comes out a little at the hips, also has shorter sleeves. I think the regular would work well for someone curvy or with hips. I would say for the slim fit, order your normal size if you want it on the tighter size or as a rashguard, and size up for a little looser fit or if you want to wear it over something else. The regular fit is a lot less form fitting and I would say it fits true to size. The neckline on both looks nice and is feminine, but I do wish it was a little higher for more protection.I'll wear my shirt for many hours on hikes without sunscreen under and never have burning. They dry very quickly and if you get sweaty the wetness is not uncomfortable, it almost feels cooling. They do tend to pick up dirt easily. It gets stuck in the fabric and it doesn't tend to wash out. These are a ridiculously great value so I'll continue to buy them. If they added longer sleeves and some thumb loops they'd be perfect.

I love this shirt. It arrived promptly. I wear a dress size 2-4 and the size small fits me well. Before I proceeded to buy more UPF shirts from them I dug into the company a bit for verification that these shirts are actually certified to be called UPF protection and when I contacted Valor Apparel they sent me a copy of the lab tests verifying UPF 50+ for their white fabric. I really appreciated that.

I work outdoors, am quite fair skinned, and have tattoos that I want to stay looking nice so I'm VERY conscious of sun protection. I don't like to be outside for even 10 minutes without some form of protection, so I have pretty high standards about what I wear for 8+ hours. After getting sick of slathering on thick sunscreen 5 times a day, I decided to look for some affordable, long sleeve UPF shirts to reduce the need. These shirts fit the bill and then some! I was pleased to see that they have research backing up their UPF claims and over time have acquired 6 of them in various colors (just ordered a 7th, actually!). I wear them 6-7 days a week with my work day including all of the most intense sun of the day, and have never once shown a hint of a burn. They are as cool as one could reasonably expect from a long sleeve shirt, and flattering to boot! As for sizing, I am 5'4", 115 lbs, and usually wear an XS in tops but sized up and got S in these. They have a nice body skimming look to them without being uncomfortably tight, which is exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is that a few of my shirts seem to have mysteriously stained/discolored a bit. I contacted customer service about it and they were kind enough to replace the affected shirts, so I wouldn't knock a star off for it, but I will say that I noticed it happened again on the replacements. It doesn't seem like anyone else has had any issues with this though, so maybe I'm just doing something wrong?tl;dr - protective and comfortable product with a flattering fit, good customer service, and very affordable. All around win!

We just got back from a vacation in Utah where we hiked nonstop for a week. I have never worn a long-sleeved shirt to hike in when it is warm, but this one was fantastic. Even though I packed other shirts, I kept washing this shirt in the sink, hanging it up to let it air dry, and wearing it the next day. Unfortunately, all my pictures look like I only have one outfit, so I intend to order a couple more in different colors. Much better than having to use sunscreen all day long. Since I ordered a medium (I usually order small) and it fit perfectly, you may want to consider getting a size larger.

I am 5'3", 120lbs. I bought size Small in Columbia blue and it fit perfectly for me. I am SO GLAD I bought this for my 10-day trip to Israel. It was extremely hot and humid yet this shirt cooled me down significantly and kept me safe from the sun. While everyone else in my group was complaining how hot they were, I was not miserable like them. Mine did come with a teeny tiny hole in the armpit (I'm hoping they'll let me exchange the shirt), but I'd buy this again without a doubt because of how functional and cute it was for me.

I wore this on a bicycle ride under my jersey. It was 104 degrees. It was cool! I even tried one sleeve up to compare arms and the covered one was cooler because the radiant heat of the sun was hot! I sprinkled my sleeves with water and it was really cool for a while.I got it because my skin is starting to get age spots even with daily sunscreen so I have to cover up.I read reviews and got a large where I usually get medium. It was loose but not baggy. I would like it fairly tight to cycle in so next time I will get a medium.

This is light weight, comfortable, easy wash and does what it says on the tin - I spent all day in the sun while gardening and I didn’t feel too hot at all...just nicely protected. I am a size 10/12 and had to buy the large (luckily previous comments had meant I went bigger than usual). Great product - already for in lots of other colours.

Well made and roomy. Keeps me cool and protected. Have bought 3 of these and drawn my own designs on to make them a bit more interesting.

Good quality and a good shape. great for when you don’t want to wear sunscreen.

Soft silky material. Comes up large but loose better for hot humid conditions (size 8 not tight figure hugging..)
