All’s well on the horizon. Great product, good pricing, fast shipping. These stearic acid (flakes) dissolve quickly in vegetable oil or triglycerides at 200F. I will continue to buy from this vendor.

This is a LOT of stearic acid, so likely enough for me for a couple of years. It's good quality however, and does melt up perfectly, flows great, and adds nothing unpleasant. It just does what it's supposed to do which is to thicken up lotions and harden soaps. It doesn't take much either.

This product had small debris and what looks like bugs in it. Thankfully, I only bought this to solidify used oil for easy discarding and disposal so it doesn't particularly matter if it isn't perfectly clean as long as it reacts properly, which it does for the most part. If I did need this for a food-grade or skin-safe project I would not buy this brand again, it does not produce smooth homogenous mixtures for things like soap, and again, it has noticeable impurities throughout (in admittedly small amounts), though I can only imagine what is also in it that I can not see as well. Overall I find this to be a tawdry product fit for the trash, which is technically/actually what I bought it for so I am overall happy. Though, I would NOT recommend it for anything else, especially food or skin related.

There seemed to me a shortage of stearic acid when I needed to order last and my normal supplier was out so I got this. I’m not a fan. It takes a ridiculous amount of time and heat and stirring (even stick blending in hot oil) to get this stuff to melt. I’ve NEVER had that issue before. Annoyed now I bought so much. :(

I make DIY lotion in my apartment. I plan to eventually make it a commercial business and cost is everything when you are trying to get more bang for your buck! It got here super fast when given a window of seven days and have it arrive within three, that's awesome. It came in two sealed mylar bags each weighing 2.5lbs
