DROK 2 Wires DC 0-50A Digital Current Meter Blue LED Amp Meter+Amperage Shunt Resistance

This ammeter works great. I mounted it on the cover for a dual duplex outlet box, the type that is surface mounted for plastic conduit. I also mounted a voltmeter from Drok of the same dimensions. They fit in the two openings for one duplex outlet, requiring a bit of sawing and filing to enlarge the openings to the rectangles required. I was also able to fit the shunt into the box by removing it from its plastic base and simply screwing directly to the bottom of the box, using the same screws. Now I have a 12 VDC duplex outlet in a surface-mounted box, with its own voltmeter and ammeter. The appearance of the red voltage reading over the blue amperage reading is very nice. Kudos to Drok and Amazon for great products and good prices.

ONLY con was that the reading was instantaneous, would not hold High/Low readings. Did what I needed to do, good readings to the nearest 0.1 Amps

If I could leave negative stars I would. Several months ago I bough 4 identical ammeters to use in my travel trailer power system. 1 to indicate solar power, 1 to indicate wind power, 1 to indicate power from the AC converter (when plugged in to city power) and 1 to show the total. Everything worked fine for several months, then the solar meter went dark. A week later another failed. So, I bought 3 more meters in red, blue & green to rewire the system for easy identification as to what each was... NONE of them worked, right out of the box. They would light, but showed 0 amps. (someone can show me why 500 watts of solar panels in direct sunlight can put out absolutely nothing) Then I smelled something burning! The red & black power wires were smoking! This product seems to have gone from bad to miserable in just a few months. If I were to recite my electrical and electronics education and experience, we can definitely rule out "OOPS." Guess I'll just have to stick to the ammeter on my charge controller.Cheers, and don't buy!

Wired this up to display real time current draw for the trolling motor installed on my kayak, provides a good V&V how the system is performing.If one pays careful attention to the wiring diagram provided, no problems, but could be tricky for non-electricians.Will use these again for sure.

Worked perfectly no hassles hooking it up. Came with no instructions but there is a diagram in the pictures. Bright and arrived fairly quickly for shipping from china only a week.
