The NEW 602 ERGOLUX active, the trekking and touring saddle for medium to long distance riding. Compared to the firmer performance ERGOWAVE models, the 602 ERGOLUX active offers greater padding volume which makes for softer feeling foam. The dual waves make the supporting surface significantly larger than before, keeping the sit bones from sinking less deeply into the seating area. As a result, the Ergo lux does not have the disadvantages that normally come with softer foam. The first level accommodates the rear part of the sit bones offering perfect support for improved force transmission onto the pedal. The second level ideally accommodates the unburdened ischial rami, thereby ensuring the best-possible pressure distribution. Due to the saddle nose sitting lower, the perineal and front area of the pubic bone and pubic arch have more free space. Thanks to the proven Slab active system which allows the saddle to follow the pedaling movements of the rider, comfort is increased, less strain is placed on the inter- vertebral discs and pressure on the sit bones is further reduced. The flex and active movement can be adjusted to the body weight with the comfort sticks in the active dampener. Available in saddle widths 14, 15 & 16 cm.

Very hard; not as wide as you might think
The "active" line from SQlab is supposedly cushier than the other line (I forget the name). But it's none too cushy. It's pretty darn firm.Also, though the saddle I bought is sold as being 16 cm wide, it's actually 17.5 cm at its very widest point. But the "sweet spots" for your ischial tuberosities, or "sit bones," are only 11 cm apart. If yours are wider than that, they'll be toward the edges of the saddle and not as comfortable. Or at least that's my theory.I'm guessing the wider choices in this saddle would be similar in this respect.If you don't know the width of your sit bones, you will have a very hard time selecting a proper saddle. I know mine and I'm *still* having trouble.

Great seat for wide sitz bones
Extremely comfortable. I ride upright to moderately bent forward.

Toller Sattel, angenehm auch bei längeren Fahrten
Man muss sich erst mal an ihn gewöhnen und dann plötzlich ist es ein Spaß mit diesem Sattel zu fahren. Habe 98 Kilo, bin sehr groß und deshalb auch schwer. habe den mit 16 cm und bin nun zufrieden. Habe drei Ergolux Active Sättel probiert und bin jetzt beim 602er hängen geblieben.Die besser gepolsterten Sitze waren im Schritt alle zu kurz, im Genitalbereich gab es Schmerzen! Dieser ist ausreichend lang und ist dort wo es dort drücken kann vertieft. Auch prima für die Lendenwirbel,steige vom Rad wie neu geboren, übrigens ein Bedelec, fahre so Touren um die 40-50 Kilometer. Vielen Dank an AMAZON für das problemlose Austauschen bis hin zum nun passenden Sattel.

keine tauben Stellen mehr
Dieser Sattel hält, was die Firma verspricht. Ich habe kein Taubheitsgefühl mehr beim Radeln. Weder die Genitalien noch der Hintern werden taub. Vorraussetzung ist natürlich auch eine genaue Einstellung des Sattels, aber das wird auch wunderbar auf der Webseite der Firma erklärt. habe mehrere Sättel von versch.Firmen getestet und dieser hier hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt.

Kein anderer Sattel mehr
Ich musste mich erst 3 Wochen daran gewöhnen. Hatte in dieser Zeit schmerzen, doch nun möchte ich diesen Sattel gegen keinen anderen mehr tauschen. Ich habe nun weder Schmerzen am Steißbein noch am Schambein

Ist für meine Frau. Top Qualität, keine Schmerzen mehr. An E- MTB angebaut- (fahren auch auf unbefestigten Waldwegen)Wie vom Hersteller beschrieben Größe ausgewählt. Bekannten auch empfohlen, sind ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. sieht nicht ganz so sportlich an einem Mountainbike aus, aber besser als Schmerzen zu haben

Is het zadel zijn geld waard??
Als gebruikelijk is de levering door Amazon prima. Het zadel was eenvoudig en snel gemonteerd hoewel ik het tijdens de eerste ritten meerdere keren heb versteld: iets meer naar achteren en de punt meer naar beneden gericht. Inmiddels ca 400 km mee gereden en (eerlijk gezegd) weet ik nog niet of het voor mij het juiste zadel is. De eerste 50 km gaat prima maar daarna is het zadel toch vrij hard. Inmiddels de twee pennen uit het binnenste van het zadel gehaald (eenvoudig te doen) en daardoor geeft het zadel meer mee en zit lekkerder. Voor mij nog even afwachten of het zadel echt als een fauteuil gaat zitten.
