Dryden Designs INK PISTON CONVERTER (Ink Bottle Converter)

This is a standard ink converter and use it with my main writing pen that I have inked.Sturdy and doesn’t leak. The walls must be a really stiff plastic (or glass - unlikely?!) but when you squeeze it doesn’t budge which I like because the converter is a secure fit so you need to push it in a bit and for ones that have more squishy walls, it causes some ink to burp out.Never had any issues with leaking.It contains a very small spring that is used as an agitator to break the surface tension of the ink so the ink is always at the bottom. If you want to fill the converter completely you just hold the pen upside down and twist out the air and then dip back in the ink and suck up more ink to fill the remaining space.

Just what I needed as my other one broke!! It is just great!

I have four fountain pens: Diplomat, Lamy, Sheaffer, and an unlabelled one, and it fits none of them, which is a pity as I use a variety of coloured inks, and it is easier to reach for the pen containing the ink I wish to write in. The Sheaffer has its own filler which was really the one I needed to replace in due course.I'm disappointed with it, but if there is a pen which fits it, I'd be glad to know what it is. The cheaper the better, around £20 to get a nice writing nib.

I wanted a piston converter that fits pens that take standard European cartridges--e.g., Montblanc, Namisu, Bossert&Erhard, Dunhill. This cartridge reluctantly fits some, but not all. I imagine it's actually intended for some of the Chinese pens--Jinhao, among others. I like the little spring doogie that breaks up surface tension in the narrow tube; I've sometimes "run out of ink," only to find out there was plenty of ink hiding in the back of the converter, far away from the feed.

This item is perfectly fine, except that it doesn’t fit my Parker pen! I was surprised as universal ink cartridges have fitted previous Parker pens. I was disappointed.

I have four fountain pens and this didn't fit ANY of them. As far as I can tell I am attempting to attach it correctly but it simply will not fit onto the pens I have which are Parker/Cross/Waterman. I would send it back were it not for the fact that the cost vs value means i'd be out of pocket. NOT HAPPY!!
