Use duck fat without worries for most cooking (unless you are, of course you are vegan)
We now only use animal fats to sauté/fry. We have used duck fat, lard and beef tallow for many years as they allow higher cooking temperatures without burning the food.Duck fat is quite light in calories and isn’t hydrogenated like most vegetable oils. There is noticeable taste difference(except the beef tallow which we use deep frying French Fries)Duck fat suits our needs perfectly.

So good
"Duck fat, makes all the difference"Duck fat is a lot lower in saturated fat and higher in unsaturated fat than the other delicious options like bacon fat. I love making hash browns with them, it gives them such a great flavor. It really does add a whole new welcomed dimension to potatoes.

Fantastic Product for a Decent Price
Used this to make some confit potatoes, and they were delicious. It has an immense duck flavor. Although I have not tried another duck fat brand, I would highly recommend purchasing this set of 2. It's just as good as rendering the fat yourself! If you do buy it, just remember to shake it up or stir it well before use so it stays homogenous for cooking.

NOT A FAN!
I have cooked with many oils, and fats over the years, and decided to try duck fat. This was my first experience. This product got great reviews, so I bought it. Now, disclaimer. There many companies that make duck fat for cooking, and this product was my first experience. So, if other companies duck fat performs similar to this product, I'll never use duck fat to cook anything, ever again.First problem, heat! I had to turn my stove down to 3 to prevent it from burning. Regular butter can handle a higher temperature than this product. Second problem, popping! This stuff pops like CRAZY! I use mesh screens over my pan's, no matter what I'm cooking with. This product will splatter everywhere! Since you have to get some what close to flip whatever your cooking, expect to get BURNED! Third issue, the taste! NOT A FAN!Once again, this is my personal opinion and experience from trying this product. Trying some beef tallow from Amazon next, will see how that goes. And to be far, NOT A FAN of Ghee either!
