My twin 11 year old and 13 year old loved this book. So much fun and entertaining.

This is excellent book for aspiring young explorers and writers - with numerous exercises, activities, photography tips, and fun things to do. From 'write your country travel guide' and code-breaking to 'handwriting analysis' and 'make your own language' instructions. My 8-year old is completely glued to it. Perfect.

I was struggling to find a couple of good presents for our 10 year old niece. She is a very smart kid, but is NOT the type of 10 year old who thinks she is 16 already. So finding something that is fun for her without being too babyish or too grown up is hard. She loved this book! We did Skype with her on her birthday, and she had already started reading through the book and learning how to talk like a pirate, as she demonstrated. She said she was looking forward to trying some of the other things in the book with her friends at her sleepover party. I'm very excited that I hit the mark - for this birthday, at least!

Absolutely disgusted with the Nat Geo book for children! I bought it to find some fun things to do for little ones and I was absolutely disgusted with several activities in the book. There was palm reading, astrology and voodoo dolls. As a Christian this is appalling, teaching children early about satanic rituals and practices. Nat Geo you should be ashamed of yourselves!!
