Even in death I Serve The Omnissiah
In the times of our word falling apart, the computer components apocalypse, the shortages and the extortionate prices whatever is left in the shelf, I have seen this PC witch is half size of xbox 360 but oh... this boi, the force is stong with one... Best intuitive decision in the moment of critical decision making time I have ever made. For the tech savvy I dont have to explain you the performance, but I can tell you you get every penny worth if it comes to good old formula (performance per price) If there is anything left good from AAA gaming yeah just throw at it it will fly through it. If you want locally running LLMs well just throw at it, it is surprisingly good! It is just overall great design and performance machine with surprisingly good quality, this is pure example that the old theory of cheap Chinese goods is dead. This is premium device but dont be fooled itvis fragile and you need to give some love if you want it last it long. My suggestion if you already spend so mutch dont be stingy buy highest grade thermal putty and phsechange thermal pad. Apply it it will work cool and quiet during heavy loads 75c max. Another advice throw out this mediatek horrible wifi module and get yourself good old intel wifi6 for £20 install it belive me it is an upgrade. Now one warning be careful with the board it is fragile. The pc have only one board and this is all thats your 2k there. when I was disassembing this PC my hands was shaking like a "B" disposer be really careful what you doing do bot rush, Australian painter did rush and did not work out for him to good. Right I see you on the battlefield brothers :D

Best bang for buck. An amazing machine
In the current market this is possibly the best bang for buck. Fast CPU with cores for days, 96GB of unified DDR5 RAM at 8000mts and the fastest iGPU on the market at the moment. Storage is plentiful but the nvme drive they supply is only PCI 4.0. The machine does support 5.0 so I can upgrade when (if) prices become sane again. I use this machine for local AI: agents, image generation, video generation and it's amazing. The unified memory means I can juggle how much I allocate to the GPU as VRAM so I can load large models in memory with no performance impact. And it does all this by barely sipping any power. Uses somewhere between 80 and 100w and even under sustained full load I've not seen it go over @60 degrees. Noise levels are not too bad though you will hear it.

GPU memory allocation not enough (96gb)
I ran into issues running qwen3-coder-next work context of around 70,000 tokens but it really struggled, some responses taking hours on a wordpress plugin. I had the 96gb version and feel the issue stemmed from not being able to allocate more than 50% to the GPU. This causes model layers and context to spill over to CPU. I returned the product as I'd spent £1,700 (had jumped to £2000 by the time I'd returned it) and couldn't hope that GMKtec would give a bios update allowing something like 75/25 split that would have left enough overhead for the os and a good amount of VRAM for the LLM. Smaller models were fine but now weighing up the 128gb version as this allows more than 50% allocation or an Mac studio / mini when the M5 comes out as these have double the ram bandwidth... On the plus side, device setup was easy and it performed well on MoE and smaller dense models

A powerful machine that belies its size
I bought this to replace my decent powered but Windows 10 machine that could no longer upgrade my Adobe apps to their fullest as you need Windows 11 and my PC couldn't take it. I wanted a machine that could handle 4K video editing without falling to a slow crawl every time I wanted to render, but I also wanted to run Flight Sim 2024 with better settings than I had previously run my FS2020, basically mostly medium settings. Even then it became very juddery due to low frame rates as although I had 32GBs Zoom RAM, I only had an NVidia GT1616 GPU. I can now do great video editing but I was gobsmacked at the power to run FS2024. It can handle every setting on Ultra level and is still beautifully smooth in flight. The built-in graphics card is equivalent to a 4060 card and I have 64GBs of LPDDRX5 RAM which is blazingly fast. This is a superb machine, has a small physical footprint but fantastic power and plenty of fast connectivity, as well as a dedicated NPU AI processor. Can't fault it, the price is very low for something this powerful.
