Designed well, easy install, but not perfect on Note 4
This is my first tempered glass screen protector, so I can only compare it to my previous uses of standard screen protectors. I got this my new Note 4. Obviously thicker and stiff, compared to the film style protectors. The edges don't seat correctly on the Note 4. I've read some other reviews and apparently the Note 4 has a slight taper to the edges and isn't completely flat, causing about a 2mm "halo" effect on the edge. That's a little annoying and makes it obvious that the phone is wearing the protector. As far as the manufacturing, it seems high quality. The cut outs for the button and camera are spot on. It actually makes swiping the fingerprint a little easier because the surface is now raised and almost even with the button, so your thumb glides over it. I immediately tested the S-Pen and have noticed no degrade in the pen's performance. It actually might help when writing because the surface grabs the pen a little bit more, as opposed to sliding.Seems to pick up prints and smudges more than I would like. Something I thought the factory screen was actually pretty good at preventing. Installation was a lot easier than the standard film ones that you kind of have to roll on and always seem to pick up a spec of dust or hair and never lay right the first time. I lined up the bottom, dropped it down and was good to go after pushing out some bubbles with my finger.Packaging was pretty high quality. Included good instructions, a couple wipes and the glass was protected very well. Included some sort of blue, clear adhesive film, but I have no idea what it's for. Be cautious with some of the over-enthusiastic 5 star reviews, by reviewers with a single review under the belt (also goes for ALL products).

Good value, does the important things well.
Screen protectors and the Note 4 have become something of a Holy Grail search. People complain about halos, edges popping up,the entire screen not being covered and what not, because, apparently, the Note 4 has a rounded edge screen that is hard to properly cover and the accessory manufacturers haven't caught up. I'm not sure anything is perfect just now. That said, this was the 3rd I tried and I think it's fine, probably the best of the 3, perhaps not perfect but it has enough good things to make me happy and stop me from continuing to search. It has the cut-outs properly aligned. Like all of them it has a certain margin around the edges (that most call a halo) that doesn't seem to fill in the air perfectly--but that's around the edges, i.e., NOT the viewable screen. Some fear that will mean it might lift off it catches on something, but so far, so good. Important point, though: with a good case on it as well, the lip of the case makes that far less likely as the protector surface is lower than the lip. It's a good combo. I think it will be fine and it seems quite thin. I will report back if it is not fine.It looks good and seems to perform well--not that I'm going to try to scratch it and see! If you call the halo the area at the non-viewable portion (I think some are using the word differently), I am not all that excited about it, although it would be nice if there weren't one. Overall, I'm happy enough to stop looking. This was at least as good as the Spigen (which I accidentally broke) and far cheaper. It was far better than the ZeroLemon I tried. On the whole, it seems like an excellent deal for the price. Until perfection comes along, I'm satisfied.Just for the record: the entire package is nicely done, but so are most of them. There is a wet wipe and microfiber cloth included.

Best of the 3 I have tried AND the cheapest ! * Maybe! *
I installed a Tech Armor protector as soon as my family's three new Note 4's arrived. But as luck would have it, mine died a few days later. AT&T replaced my phone and gave me one of the overpriced BodyGuardz protectors for free since I already had a protector on it.The Tech Armor did not have cutouts for the sensors or the front camera and really showed fingerprints. The BodyGuardz did not show fingerprints but was very short at the top and the bottom and was thicker than the first one, annoyingly cutting right through the soft buttons at the bottom. And the halo was thicker by about 50% (perhaps due to the thickness ?)So... for the price, I was somewhat skeptical, but I figured I would give the Bear motion a try. Well... It is about as perfect as it can be! It fits well, does not show fingerprints, and is thin in comparison to the others. Yes, there is a halo but it is not as wide as the BodyGuardz's... I understand why there's a halo and I'm willing to live with it - If you don't want the halo, don't get a glass protector - it is the nature of the beast! The only drawback is that it does not have a lifetime warranty, but I can get 5 of these for the price of a BodyGuardz from AT&T. I honestly doubt I will ever need to replace the protector, but it is cheap insurance.I just ordered two more to replace the TechArmors on my two remaining Note 4's... I guess that tells you what I think. IMO this is the best glass protector at the lowest price.* Update * perhaps I posted my original review prematurely... I'm changing my rating from a 5 to a 3. After a couple of days use I noticed there were streaks in the oleophobic coating - very annoying that some areas were fingerprint free and others showed them dramatically. My two replacements came in and one is perfect while the other is terrible. This WOULD be a near perfect protector if not for those streaks. It seems there is poor quality application of the oleophobic coating on these protector - looks like luck of the draw if you get a good one. I'm returning and reordering the two bad ones and hoping for the best!
