An enjoyable snack with complimentary blend of chutneys to add taste. Pate choices 2 could be larger portions or maybe 3 as the quantities are small leaving behind a lot of chutney.

Wonderful product

Is what the recipient of this product, I gave them as a gift said. So, pleased all round. What I didn't realise before buying, though, was that its a Sainsbury product, and I could have purchased it cheaper in the supermarket!

very pleasing purchase

In the past have purchased a variety of Jams and Chutneys from this producer. All of the jams and chutneys have been delicious, some more than others but certainly delicious enough for me to be a return buyer, even tho' a tad expensive. Consequently I have no problems with the chutney in this particular package. However, I did not go a bundle on the 2 x pates. The texture of the Duck one was very roughly chopped and more like the texture of a Terrine/meat loaf than a pate but as they are made in France.... also, I could not determine any taste of alcohol AND a big and, a jar contains so very little they really are only fit for one serving as a light lunch. The Scottish Oatcakes frankly are the worst I have eaten in many years of eating Oatcakes. I found them tasteless apart from discerning salt but like tiny slabs of concrete, my poor teeth and my poor sensitive mouth after attempting to eat two meant that I soaked them and put them out for the gulls who will eat anything. Had it not been for the Oatcakes and the tiny amounts of pate I would have given a higher star rating. PS If you like Rhubarb and Ginger Jam, this company's is worth a try.
