Sena GP10-02 Bluetooth Pack for GoPro with Waterproof Case, Black

Using with GoPro Hero 4 Black. Works flawlessly with Cycle Gear house brand helmet with integrated Sena DWO-5 Bluetooth coms. Obviously will work with other Bluetooth comms as well. After you've confirmed the firmware is upgraded to the latest version, you'll want to go into the menu via the Sena app and turn on the HD mode and wind reduction for best sound quality. GREAT for motorcycle vlogging. No wires! You can also use with non GoPro cameras if you get a 10 pin mini USB adapter to 3.5mm with built in resistance made for gopro 3 & 4 like the one from VidPro. If you try a cable that does not have all 10 pins wired or does not have the integrated resistance it WON'T work. Battery life is long enough to be used for multiple videos. The case, optional skeleton back (so you can access the switches on the AudioPack), and the frame mount all fit well with the Audio Pack installed. The mini USB "bridge" connector can be a little fussy to get aligned/inserted in the mini USB ports of the camera and the Audio Pack, but it does NOT take force to do so. Just a little patience until you've used it a few times. Buy this while you can still get them. For my money, the GoPro Hero 4 Black and this unit is the cleanest and easiest way to get helmet comms in your videos, and even though the model is about 7 years old, the Hero 4 Black does 4K 30fps. Oh, the 2 microphones integrated into the Audio Pack are actually very good quality, so I use it in that mode for studio and tripod work, or when I'm not using helmet comms.

I wish there was a way to run the gopro off of a usb cord with this attached but due to the design it just isnt possible. The limiting factor with a gopro is alway the battery. The bluetooth backpack is no exception to that. You can only record as long as your camera runs and unfortunately using this in conjunction with the Sena 20S there is no audible warning that the batteries are dying. So you could be vlogging or recording away with no camera. Functionality-wise its a great device. It makes vlogging and recording your gopro adventures very easy. Sound is clear and works great with the Sena 20S headsets.

this thing works great when you want to get multi people chat all on one gopro video. i use it for my motorcycle a lot. Makes editing video and voice chat a whole lot easier. Audio is meh, but i guess that depends on what kind of audio your looking for. I think its great for picking up multiple people.

It paired fairly easily with my GoPro HERO 4 and SENA app on my iPhone 5s. It works fine while walking around the house. It does NOT come with a charging cable which I find strange. So charging my SMH-10R. GoPro and GP10 simultaneously is going to require an additional purchase of a charging cable. The extended length thumb screw required to clear the waterproof case came with threads 1/4" TOO SHORT to reach the nut on any GoPro hardware.Pros: Paired easily. Audio (while walking through my house) is good. Fits in the case well with GoPro HERO 4 Easy access to controls via the skeleton door Easy access the charging port through the case (now if it only came with a charging cableCons: Does not come with charging cable Required extended length thumb screw came with threads too short to use SENA support says they will send the proper thumb screw BUT I'll have to wait a week or more. It's useless to me until I can mount it to my helmet.

Purchased this unit along with the 10r and the smh10. Both headsets work great but this GP10-02 has bad issues. I have updated all of the products and did the restore to no avail. The audio will skip. Very annoying. Did some research and found that others were having issues with this product as well. I am definitely not contacting sena on this matter as others have tried to remedy this problem with technical support. It's a great idea tho. Spend 15.00 and get you a mic and plug it into the GoPro. You will get the best audio out of it.

I bought this along with the  Sena 20S-01 Motorcycle Bluetooth 4.1 Communication System with HD Audio and Advanced Noise Control (Single)  for making motovlogs while riding my motorcycle. I wear a 3/4 helmet with a shield and get good sounding audio for my vlogs. The unit is pretty easy to use just have to remember to turn on the camera the backpack and the headset. I record in UHD and the sound is good even while riding at highway speeds. At speeds under 50 or so the sound is very good.. My vlog is HighSpeedJim on youtube if you want to watch a video to hear the sound quality.

I have not had a single qualm with this product. I followed the directions and synced it quickly with my 20S, and have used to it vlog multiple times. The case quality is right there with an original GoPro case, and the battery on the audio backpack will last a long, long time. This is a great idea and I believe Sena is limited to the technology we have today or they don't want to use an expensive processor to allow the system to multitask when motovlogging. After having this for a couple of weeks, I used it twice and now it no longer turns on. it's hooked up but no blue light comes on anymore . I bought the protection plan but assurant never sent it to me or sent anything to me for that matter. What do I do now? Spend another 100$

Lo utilizzo con una GoPro 3 e un kit Sena 3S all'interno del casco integrale per moto, per trasferire l'audio della mia voce al video registrato dalla GoPro.La qualità audio è ottima, ma non va attivato il microfono incorporato insieme a quello esterno bluetooth altrimenti la qualità audio è scadente. Il microfono Sena 3s filtra molto bene il vento e i rumori ambientali: il suono del motore della moto si sente in sottofondo durante la guida.Ho inserito la GoPro e Sena GP10 con il ponticello, all'interno del contenitore di protezione trasparente, utilizzando il coperchio posteriore con le finestre per accedere agli interruttori e poter ricaricare la batteria senza aprire il contenitore.Per poter trasferire i files registrati dalla GoPro è necessario estrarla dal contenitore per poter collegare la spina mini usb direttamente alla presa della GoPro, perchè utilizzando quella di Sena GP10 si effettua solo la ricarica della batteria e non la connessione alla memoria interna di archiviazione.Con questo kit è possibile eliminare i fili di connessione microfonica e posizionare GoPro e microfono lontani tra loro, senza alcuna connessione fisica.Come si attiva: accendo GoPro, accendo Sena GP10, accendo l'auricolare microfono all'interno del casco e dopo meno di dieci secondi ascolto tramite gli auricolare il messaggio audio "GoPro pack connected". A questo punto si avvia la registrazione audio video premendo l'apposito tasto su GoPro.
