Beautifully done book, Ceri Griffiths is a rare gem when it comes to cake design and decoration.Unfortunately the book was damaged on arrival as this soft cover book was shipped in an envelope.

An amazing find. Very valuable information.

Loved the book. Has very detailed pictures. Also the techniques increase in complexity as you progress through the book. He makes it all seem so easy and doable, even for someone without tons of experience.

Although I liked some of the designs, the instructions were lack-luster.

This is a beautiful and A Must Have book for ALL cake decorators. The piping techniques of Ceri, the author are just fascinating. Love and enjoy this book a lot.

What I like about this book is that it shows you detailed instructions on how to pipe the various types of borders.What I don't like is that this book doesn't teach you how to create the various finished cakes in the book. It also doesn't relate the various types of borders to the finished cakes, i.e it doesn't tell you which borders are used on which cake designs.

This book is absolutely fantastic for those who want to learn and be inspired on royal icing piped borders. Ceri breaks down each border in great detail and gives easy to follow and complete instructions on how to achieve the result. Of course practice is required to get to a good level, but all the indications are there. A must buy for those who always gave up on royal icing and will possibly fall in love again with this wonderful medium.

Excellent for anyone wishing to learn how to build up borders on a cake using royal icing. It shows where and how to start using basic techniques to the more advanced.
