Ecco Men's Collin Nautical Perforated Fashion Sneaker

For everyone saying these run large, I partially agree. The reason I say partially is because I generally size down from my tennis shoe size for boat shoes or shoes like this that I will be wearing thin to no socks in anyways. I'll generally wear around size 10.5 for tennis shoes, but for my boat shoes I have a pair that are size 9.5. For these I got the 9-9.5 size and they fit me perfectly as I have been wearing them with extremely thin footie/no-show socks(so they don't stink up). If you are ordering these with your regular tennis shoe size but not wearing socks, of course they are going to be too big! However, if you are going to be wearing socks that are a bit thicker with cushion I would not suggest sizing down. It all depends on how you will wear them. The shoes themselves are great and extremely comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft and doesn't even need breaking in time or cause the dreaded back heel/Achilles blister like many boat shoes do. I walked around town with them for a solid 3-5 hours and my only small complaint was that the ball of my feet started to get a little sore because they don't offer a ton of cushion. This could be an issue as I plan to take these on a trip to Europe which I will be walking a ton, but I think this problem can easily be solved by replacing the insole. All in all, love this shoe! I want another pair in another color!

UPDATE 8/2017After wearing the shoes for another month or so, all pain went away. I am super surprised - but it's almost like the shoe fits to my foot now. It's one of my more comfortable pairs I own and it looks decent too. So, updating my review to 4 star, make sure you survive the break-in period though!!--- original review below ---I had very high hopes for these. Unfortunately now after 3 days of wearing them I've decided they aren't too big, but the fit is so strange that it feels big in the back (I typically wear size 11.5, and bought the 11-11.5 size, but still the back of my foot has lots of air - it's not snug). Since I wore them out I can't return them at this point, they are somewhat dirty already.The bad part is that the backs rub quite a bit on the back of my foot, day 2 I was bleeding and day 3 I formed a blister from it.

First of all, these are Eccos, and you really can't go wrong with Ecco- it's expensive for a reason: the quality is really good. Keeping that in mind, this particular pair of shoes isn't on Ecco's high end, so don't expect super comfy, but they're casual, so you wouldn't use them to walk around in all day anyway (although most of you could, I can't because of my plantar fasciitis). Also, I always get 43 (European size) for Ecco, so I didn't even try these on, but I got lucky because these are a tad snug (in width), but fortunately, since they're leather, the snugness loosens up over time. Overall, a great shoe!

I love these shoes! I can wear any clothes with them, they always look good, and they are so comfortable!I wear 45 (European size) and choose the 45/11-11.5, and they fit perfectly.They can seem pricey, but I think it is totally worth it for this great quality.The delivery was quick as expected, and the package in excellent condition.Something I don't like though: The lather laces, which give a cool style, but hurt the feet when I put them in the shoe (which I generally do). I am thinking about replacing them by the other pair of laces included in the box.

I own about four different pairs of Ecco Collins (v1, different styles) and these fit and feel pretty much identical to the others - mega comfortable for walking around all day or for lounging about.The look is casual but mature and classic. Low profile but with nice details.The sole looks fairly slick but is actually pretty grippy. With heavy wear they will eventually wear through but it’ll take a while.Recommended. Another good one from Ecco.

Original order was for my regular size 10...needed 1 size smaller...these run large. Nice shoes once you get the correct size. First order did not include replacement laces for leather laces (default). Other reviews indicated 2nd pair of laces included. Since the laces are sold for $6 or higher it would be nice to get these as included since the shoes are a bit pricey....good quality tho and we will see how they hold up. Color is more a neutral tan that should go with everything.

Great shoes, but the 45 was one size too large. I usually wear an 11, and the chart said to order the 45. But several reviewers said they ran large and they were right. I sent these back and got the size 44, which seems just right. Soft, supple and well made. Looks nice, a bit dressier than a sneaker, but seems comfortable enough to walk around Europe this summer. I also needed to add insoles for support, as these shoes are pretty flat, as you might expect from what is essentially a boat shoe style.

I purchased a size 44. I am a size 11 in most other shoe brands. They fit great. I get compliments all the time. I've walked many miles in them and they are holding up well. With my prior Ecco shoes, I've felt I could walk a marathon in them. Not quite as much cushion or support with these - after 13 miles of sight seeing on vacation (according to my phone's pedometer), my feet were a little sore. more comfortable than any similar shoe I've ever worn though. I wear them with very silly looking barely-existent socks that can't be seen when the shoes are on. That keeps them from smelling like feet. I would gladly buy these shoes again.

Fit is excellent, comfy straight away, out of the box. The leather insole is luxurious and the suede upper is soft - so very comfortable shoes. I was reluctant to buy shoes without trying on, but there is a good measuring guide on the ECCO website. Overall very pleased with these after about a month. I've since bought 3 other ECCO models.

Lovely trendy shoes. Very good fit. Stylish and comfortable. Laces however are a bit unusual and hard to tie neatly. Not to be knocked though, there is a 2nd pair of ordinary laces included for the faint hearted!

Great comfort, great design. Sturdy shoe so not likely to fall apart as some would. Alternative 'normal' laces being included are a bonus.

very good shoes, extremely comfortable. bought this par as i used to own the same type previously. vendor is quick to ship and reliable.

Nice shoes but not the size it stated had to send back, they didn't have a bigger size which was a shame my husband really liked them
