Diamond Foam Baseball Size Practice Balls, Dozen

I bought these balls for the Fisher Price Triple Play system. These yellow balls are the same size of a normal baseball, but because there are no real seams, I think that is what accounts for what might make them seem a tad smaller than real baseballs. Compared to the white foam Triple Play balls, these yellow ones are bigger.The Diamond Foam balls weigh in at about 1.5 ounces. A real baseball is closer to 6 ounces. The Triple Play balls weigh 1 ounce. Compared to the Triple Play balls, these are more firm.When used with the Triple Play system, these yellow balls will come out faster, higher, and travel further. You will want to back up the Tee as needed compared to the white foam balls meant for the Fisher Price Triple Play pitching machine.I do not use these with any other systems. I can't compare them with the Juggs balls or used in any Juggs machines. However, they seem like great practice balls and they are relatively cheap. These come individually wrapped in plastic and placed in a box with individual dividers.

The balls are fine but the Jugs baseballs are a little heavier so I prefer them. Unfortunately, they were not available from Amazon at the time I placed the order.

Great product for young t-ball age players. Helps build confidence especially in catching! These balls allow young players to play catch with each other without fear of getting hurt. Also great for teaching how to catch fly balls. Once they learn the skills you can move on to the next level of frimness in a baseball. Also great for indoors training.

As a youth baseball travel coach, I purchase a few dozen of these baseballs every Spring. Our team uses these during our pre-game warm ups to take batting practice. They are perfect for areas with limited space as the balls don't travel as far. And, they are just heavy enough to provide hitters with feedback on their contact. They are soft enough that coaches can pitch from a close distance and not get hurt when a ball is hit back at them. They are very durable. Some of these baseballs last a few seasons--and we play more than 60 games per year!

great for before games, girls loved hitting them only drawback is they go far so retriving them takes time. would buy more when needed.

These balls are the perfect size for practicing baseball without worrying about someone getting bonked on the head. Good weight and approximation of regular baseballs. Very durable, too.

I bought these to pratice hitting in the back yard with my 6 year old. I pitch him the balls. Previously, I had a few 'rawlings' foam balls that I used with him, which were great. They were the same size as a regular baseball and they had enough weight to that made them easy to throw. These Diamond balls are smaller than a baseball. They are also too light. I find it harder to throw them accurately. I'll be on the search for those old rawlings balls or something with a little more size and heft.

When pre-game BP space is limited, these balls do the trick! They are the same size as regulation baseballs and are safe for small areas.
